Elem Hair, Cambridge

I just got to UK form the USA and I was looking for a hair salon. I was lucky to find Sasha which is not only a lovely person but also a great professional. She did an amazing job and I’m super happy with my new hair color. I highly recommend this place.

Went to get my hair dyed purple, I followed all the after care steps using colour special shampoo and conditioner with luke warm water and after only two washes within a week my hair is now pink patchy with shades of orange and some silver? The purple was not the shade I wanted which I could live with but now I’m scared to even wash it again. The hair cut itself I absolutely loved so I’m happy with that. Getting hair dyed is always risky but I was hoping paying so much would work out in my favour, sadly not.

I do want to add that I would talk to the salon directly about this issue but I felt a bit intimidated to do so and I was warned that the colour would fade over time.

I highly recommend India when it comes to doing my hair, I love bright vibrant colours and she always comes up with amazing combinations! I can’t wait for the next one. Customer service is great and the salon is very welcoming!

A good haircut ( I would say one of 3 best haircuts I had in my lifetime). Broadie knows her craft very well and it was professional and a swift haircut. Had a lovely conversation too during the cut ✂️and it helped me forget about the pandemic for those 30 mins. Highly recommended!

Had a great experience at Elem hair, My stylist India listened to what I wanted and I really like my haircut, it grew out really well.

Great experience with Elem hair, would recommend highly. Sacha listened to everything I wanted and had great advice! She also cuts my two boys hair which I’m always very pleased with, it’s nice having a stylist that can accommodate every need.

First visit to the salon, had my hair cut with Victoria, great experience. Victoria was made me feel very comfortable and gave my hair a really good cut which exceeded my expectations. Defo recommend!

If I could leave no stars for the stylists attitude I would! I was never told her name, my coat was thrown on a chair and I was treated with disdain the whole way through the experience, which I was then charged £60+ for a rushed less than 20 minute haircut. The only thing I can think of was that I had originally booked for a root touch up and because the skin test couldn’t be done before I needed my hair cut and so I cancelled the colouring and just went for the cut? Whatever the reason, I was made to feel anxious and unwanted throughout the whole experience and have now noticed that I have odd bits of random long hair! I was so upset as it was a gift from my dad for a party and can honestly say I have never been treated so badly at a hairdressers in my life!
