Ian Johnson

A solid and dependable barber. My father and I have been going to him for years as he is inexpensive, doesn't mess around and has lots of experience.

A friend of mine recently visited a stylist/salon and paid £18 for a tattooed young man in a tight T-shirt to mess about with his hair and leave him looking like a pokemon character. That is fine if you like that sort of thing, but if you want to have your hair trimmed properly, go to Ian Johnson's, tell him what style you want, and don't worry about taking more than a tenner along with you.

Ian is a great gents barber. Loves a chat as he cuts, and always does his best to fit you in asap. Cheap prices too imo

Ian does a great cut and chats away as he does. But he also listens and remembers what you have talked about. A proper old fashioned community barber that knows modern styles. Prices are good.

He is brilliant, a great guy and very pleasant to talk too and always has done a great cut. I have been going there for over sixteen years now 😊
