I had great service from the staff on my last visit for the price. Although I will admit both the stylist and the receptionist where somewhat brusque with me they asked me the necessary questions, confirmed a few specific details just to confirm my preferences on the cut, and amused themselves by talking to other staff leaving me in peace which was actually rather refreshing! I think it depends on who you get but I have seen a couple of excellent chaps over my odd couple of trips.

Lovely lady working on her own. Used my name and was very understanding when I explained I have anxiety. She made me feel very comfortable and I am really happy with my hair cut.

I gave 2 stars due to price and "ok" style but would NEVER return. I was ignored when I entered the shop with 2 females glancing at me and turning away again. After standing for a few minutes, one of them told me to sit down and someone would be with me shortly. When I was eventually taken, the woman was rude and aggressive. I have never encountered such aggression and attitude from a service provider, and for the first time ever in a hair salon, did not leave a tip. I was going to give her £5 and had it ready in a pocket in my handbag but it remained there! Would definitely not recommend or return.

The worst hairdressing experience of my life.
I've used this place quite a few times and the standard of haircut varies between stylists.
I don't mind this too much as it's cheap enough and it's a walk in salon, I've had some excellent cuts and some which leave me feeling disappointed but you know, poor cuts grow out and aren't permanent.
This most recent experience however was on another level.
I have photos of my own hair, cut in a way which shows its growth pattern and the style I want, it's VERY simple.
I explain in detail as many stylists have told me that's what they like from the customer in order for them to provide the best service.
I showed the hairdresser the pictures, described what I wanted and we went to her chair.
She did the opposite and showed me in the mirror, asked if I was happy and I said no and explained again what I wanted.
She said she would carry on and I asked if she was going to be able to do what I wanted, she said she'd 'get the barber'.
Along comes the barber.
I show him the photo of the back of my hair and he says he'll give me a 'short back and sides' which is not what I asked for or want.
The hairdresser and barber have a discussion about who is going to do my hair and I lose all confidence that I am going to get anything resembling what I asked for so I remove the gown and say I do not wish to continue.
The hairdresser & the barber go to the back room, I hear the hairdresser say 'she's just standing there' whilst I wait to see if there's a charge for the little bit of hair which has been cut and she, the barber and another hairdresser laugh loudly.
The other hairdresser comes out to ask 'what's the problem?', I tell her I'm too nervous to continue as no one understands what I want & ask how much I owe.
She asks if I want her to do it but after that experience there's no way I'd ever go there again.
I went home & googled pictures of short back and sides and would have been very upset if the barber had done that to me so I consider myself to have had a lucky escape with a partial haircut.

Quick and easy haircut by Hardi. In and out with 20 minutes, no appointment needed. Cash only so go to.nearby cash machine first. £12 for a trim. They did Edward too.

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE A PLAGUE. This complaint is regarding my walk in experience. I was sat down around 4pm asked to wait, so waited for 20mins. Was not communicated how long the hairdresser will take. So I asked if I head out for half hour. She said fine assuming I’d keep my place in the queue. Clearly not as I Returned. She had finished with her client by then. There were 2 other new ladies who arrived at the same time as me. She decided to serve them rather than me despite being there before them. 5pm at this point. She FAILED to communicate how long she’ll take. I asked how long she’ll take as I arrived an hour ago, she got all defensive started to blame me for popping out despite agreeing to this. She had LACK OF COMMUNICATION she clearly did want to serve me. Horrible lady

You go for the stylist not the name above the door; was my motto.... That is until they left me waiting for 2.5 hours without communicating how long a wait I would have, apologising or keeping me updated. Not busy just understaffed and not particularly bothered about managing their time to work through the queue. The price keeps jumping up at regular intervals too and so now it's no longer substantially cheaper than their competitors (Kara's for example) when you factor in that you're treated like cattle.

Me and my two boys had our hair cut at the barber's section on Saturday while my wife had her hair done. The barbers were brilliant with my 3 and 5 year olds. The barber was very polite and gentle with the boys. Both barbers are perfectionists and extremely professional. It's also the first time ever that I didn't have an itchy neck on the way home as they took great care to stop hair dropping into my clothes. This is the best hair cut and experience I've had cutting hair so we'll all just go together as a family again in the future. Thanks to all the staff.
