I had my first appointment at AK Hair. It's quite scary going to a new salon. Ruby was lovely and took her time with me choosing the colour and it's turned out super. Nothing was too much trouble and I'm looking forward to returning. Fully recommended. Thanks Ruby xx

Lovely people, but a terrible haircut- I got home and realised it was wonky and somehow unlevel. I had to level it up myself. I asked for a few inches off long hair with some light layers instead of a blunt look. I’d rather not name the hairdresser who did the cut, I won’t be going back.

My partner and I have recently moved to the area and I was really nervous about changing hair salons. However, I am very pleased I visited AK hair. All of the team were welcoming, kind and professional in their approach. This salon was Covid safe with a lovely, calm atmosphere even when busy. Beth provided me with an excellent haircut and colour. I couldn't he happier with my new hair. I highly recommend and I look forward to being back. Thank you Beth & the AK team!

This is my hairdressers and I love them. Both Amy and Kelly plus the rest of the team truly look after their customers and their regulars. Through COVID they have done their best to inform their customers what's going on with the salon and appointments., They also try and cater when and where they can for everyone, but also giving help and advice if you looking to change hairstyle or colour, they will never "tell"you they will always help, recommend and advise only...The rest is up to you!! They truly are the best and loveliest hairdressers and friends now you could ever wish for to cut your hair I shall miss them terribly when we re-locate with moving house and either Amy or Kelly are gonna have to come down to our new home in West Wales to cut my hair......SSSHHHH Haven't told them that bit yet😳🤣
