My 97 year old mother had a lovely time there today, having a perm, she was very pleased with it and the whole experience. A special thank you to Shelly, for looking after her.

Service: Dry Cut

It’s fair to say that she will not be attending this salon again, nor do I recommend their services to anyone who is either a tourist or Neurodiverse (ASD in this case).

I’ll give credit where due, the attendant was friendly enough when they weren’t making sounds of amusement whilst addressing the person, my daughter, in the chair.

However, charging £40 for a very short cut, from something that is already a very short cut and took no more than twenty minutes, for a dry cut is quite frankly daylight robbery. Especially since it’s length equals a Gents Cut. Probably tallied to the full length price due to asking a number of personal questions including work. Work which may have sounded like a good income, but is not when you’re Neurodiverse and disabled, and have bills to pay.

You’ve single handedly made someone very upset due to gross overcharging, and made what was meant to be a retreat a tight budget.

So defeated that business’ time and time again are taking advantage of my daughter when she tries to brave things alone. Knowing that she won’t question the unfairness.

Other people that we have spoken to since, and have even used this service for longer hair, were simply aghast at this appalling treatment.

My initial review was in September, 2022, however I have now updated it due to the email I sent along with this review gaining zero acknowledgment or response from the business. Dropping from two stars to one. Absolutely disgraceful!
