After thinking about it for a while , I booked an appointment and went back . Penny applied the treatment and I’m so very pleased with the result. Thank you Penny .
Pharnomenel experince. I would definitely recommend her to anybody.
You go into her salon & come out feeling like a brand new woman🤗🥰❤❤
After my hair grew out for a year, my natural hair was pretty much looked like it was on transitioning stage fully grew out with relaxed ends. Since it has been a year and I thought it was obvious that my hair needed more than a root touch up and you could that, as she had done my hair before I trusted her and would had been fine.
The end result of my hair as you can see from the photos are not the end result I wanted. The relaxer was not stretched enough and you can see a massive chunks had been missed out in the middle all around my hair and it was patchy all over. I was so shocked I started crying in the chair, as I know I would have to wait another month to sort it. I still had to pay £65 inc discount that was put on because of the mistake, but soon as I gathered the money to get it fixed lock down happened again and I had to wait another year to get it fixed.
I couldn’t accept to myself the extent of the damage done to my hair until I went to London to get it fixed and another hair salon. The lady who fixed my hair was beyond shocked, she asked me “did you do this yourself??” And I explained it happened in a salon and I could tell she felt sorry for me. The only way she could describe my hair was ‘butchered’, and said I should definitely have not paid for a service not done correctly. But I don’t enjoy conflict so I explained I felt like I had to pay.
Im writing this only now because now I have had a professionals opinion I can see how truly permanently damaged my hair is, the lady who fixed it did an incredible job to work with what I had but there’s still gaps where you can see it’s been done wrong. This hasn’t just affected me financially, as I had just left uni and been furloughed from my pub job and they could only afford to pay me part time hours. It’s also taken a huge toll on my mental health and confidence too, because it looked so terrible and could see it breaking off as I had to wait so long to get it sorted.
I know sometimes it’s easy for customers to be gaslighted and blamed for the service thats provided but that’s why I’ve provided evidence of my booking and photos of my hair after it happened. I hope this review can be constructive and mistakes can be learned from. More communication, consideration and care should be put into methods when providing any service in personal care in the in the beauty industry. I would love a refund as I do think I deserve one as I handled the situation with grace, but I cried about it for over a year and still paying for the damage that’s been done.
