I've been here twice. The first time I went in for a pedicure and was attended to by a young Irish lady, who did a fantastic job and was really sweet. But watching the service around me was awful: people were walking in asking for a manicure, and the ladies there would sit that customer down when someone who had booked a day in advance had already been waiting for a while. The lady who booked spoke up about it and reminded them, but just goes to show how shoddy their customer service is. Once the Irish lady (I didn't catch her name) had done my pedicure incl Shellac, she wanted to leave my feet to make sure they were dry before I put my shoes and socks back on. But another Indian lady told her off and basically rushed me out the store so they could serve another customer. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought it was because they seemed to be particularly busy that day.

So I went back today to get Shellac done on my nails. I had 3 different ladies working on my nails - WTF?? One lady sat down and started filing my nails but then got called away by someone else. She took off without even apologising, and I got seen to by another lady who finished filing my nails. She then applied the Shellac (badly, I must add - there are still patches where the colour is uneven and she even got some on the skin around my nails without removing it), but then went off to do someone's eyebrows whilst my nails were drying in the UV light (before she put the top coat on). Then some other lady came to me, thinking she had applied the top coat and started rubbing this lotion on it. I didn't think anything of it as I have had little experience of Shellac, but when the 2nd lady came back to me she started tutting and speaking to the 3rd lady in another language obviously sounding annoyed/angry that she shouldn't have put that lotion on it, as it was intended to remove the shine/inhibiting layer or something like this (I read it from the bottle after she started tutting). Finally they finished the job, but I am unhappy with it and their customer service. If I could put pictures up here then I would to show you all how bad it is. It only cost me £11, but that is what you get - cheap price for cheap service & bad quality.

The only reason this place gets 2 stars rather than 1 is because of that Irish lady who served me the first time; I hope she moves on to bigger and better places.

Unhygenic, rude staff, communication problem, ugly looking staff with pathetic behaviour. I was walking my way to starbucks when i saw this on the right and decided to give it a try. The girl who was doing my eyebrows was rude and un-courteous. It was hurting me when she was doing my eyebrows so i asked her to take a pause and she made a face. This happened 2-3 times until i asked her if something was wrong and why was she acting so pissed off.
And then they started waxing. The room was dirty, fithly and totally unprofessional. Worse than worst parlours i have seen in the world. I travel around the world and have seen a lot of them but this is by far the dirtiest place ever. After waxing, they didnt even clean with the left over wax from my skin and instead gave me a bottle of ugly looking lotion to apply myself. Even after asking them twice, they didnt do it. Secondly, they put wax on my 300 dollars sweater which was hanging on a peg while they were waxing. I didnt notice it and they didnt tell me. I saw it after i came out and it made me so angry but i didnt want to go back.
Third, the girl calculated the price wrong and asked me for 24 pounds whereas when i asked her to calculate, it came out to be only 21 pounds.
These people are sick. They have no right to be in this business. People, please dont go here. They should be shut down. I wouldnt even give me one star.

I normally don't write reviews but on this occasion I need to warn anybody thinking of using this salon.: AVOID AVOID AVOID! I can see why there are mainly negative Google reviews on this place. I needed threading on my eyebrows and upper lip and remembered they had a £5 deal for both in the past. When I went into the shop, there was an Indian lady at reception mumbling almost silently into the phone and would not get off when I approached her. I managed to ask her quickly if they still did the £5 deal for the eyebrow and upper lip threading. She nodded and waved me on over to somebody. OH MY GOD, that threading hurt like hell. I have sensitive skin, but never before was it so painful. I realised immediately that her technique was totally wrong so I had to take lost of breaks was glad when it was over. When I went to pay, she checked with the reception lady who was STILL on the phone how much to charge me. She told her £7 but when I looked at the menu, it said £5 so I questioned it. When she gave me the change, she still charged me £7 and stood looking blankly and refusing to give me the correct change! I usually give a tip to these girls, but needless I was not going to on this occasion. I co-run a small business myself and I was so shocked at their lack of professionalism and customer service. I will never EVER use this salon again, I have told all my friends to avoid it like the plague, and I hope you will do the same. These people don't know what they are doing, they are breaking the trading standards law, and they think it's better put a couple of pounds before customer satisfaction. Really, really bad....

You get what you pay for at Belle Amie. I've been there 2 or 3 times and will go again this weekend for wax, pedi and mani. It's a bit chaotic but it's cheap and they always try and fit you in. If I want a really good pedi, I go to Cowshed and pay nearly £100. Here it's about £15 and worth every penny. It's up to the customer to choose which end of the spectrum they want and I'm happy to choose Belle Amie 9 times out of 10.

AVOID!!! Never keep to appointment times, always left waiting. They will take anyone through the door which means all the staff are unhappy, overworked and underpaid. Their manager constantly makes them work over time and over their breaks if a customer walks in. The service feels like your on a conveyer belt and communication is poor. Would not recommend to anyone. Many other great business's just around the corner.

I've been to this salon few times, and I've got the best service. I had waxing done, facials and haircut I think they are the best. Lovely atmosphere and nice staff. Im so happy to finally find a salon that I kind. I really like this place and I recommend everyone should give it a try.

I got a terrible shellac job a few months ago, badly painted, not enough time under the lights and just general shoddy lazy attitude from the staff member doing my nails. Inevitably it was peeling and looked shocking after only a few days. Last week I decided to give them another try and went in for another try at shellac (last year i had no complaints about this place so I thought that it was a just a one off) unfortunately not, last week's shellac was just as bad if not worse than the one before. Nails not filed properly, really uneven square shape (I asked for round) terrible paint job and nails were peeling again within a few days. The staff member barely paid attention, no care or precision or interest at all, and spent most of the time laughing and gossiping with her colleagues. It may be only £15 for shellac here but honestly I recommend you pay a bit extra and go somewhere else. The nail shop near the Tesco's in the mall is so much better.
Such a shame as I used to love this place.
