I have been going to Kelly for over 3 years for eyelash extensions and can confidently say that she is the best lash technician I have ever had! Having been to multiple different places before and since moving from Durham, Kelly has remained the best quality, long lasting and good priced lashes by a big margin! I have recommended her to so many of my friends and whenever I’m back in Durham to visit, booking an appointment with her is my first priority! Not only is the standard of her treatments so high, she is also such a friendly and lovely person and I always look forward to seeing her!

Jamie is amazing, highly skilled hair colourist. Been using him for a long time, I have tried other hairdressers when he moved away but no one has come close to being as good! Highly Recommended!

Best haircut of my life. Got my hair cut twice with Rachel who has curly hair like me, walked out with a huge smile both times. She knows exactly what to do and is also so lovely.

Rachael G-Rachael has been cutting my hair for sometime. She is brilliant at cutting, styling and blowing hair-I have never come away disappointed. I have recently had a perm and instead of coming away with tight curls from the 1980s I have a head full of loose waves and curls. I would never go anywhere else and am always happy when I leave, and hope that Rachael never thinks of retiring-I would be devastated.

Worst cut and colour I have ever had. The photos of my roots were taken days after I had my hair coloured at Belle Ame. I had to go home to get my normal hairdresser to fix it and he said it looked like my hair had been dyed 7 or 8 weeks before, yet it had only been a week. The colour was completely wrong and not toned and I was given layers that I neither wanted nor asked for. I have attached a photo of my roots, but the cut, which is by far the worst part of my experience with Belle Ame, will have to be left to the imagination because I would rather shave my head entirely than let anyone see it. My normal hairdresser described it as somewhere between a mullet and the cut a six year old boy has when trying to copy his mother's hairstyle. I spent £83 on having my hair ruined and had to spend a further £95 to spend to get my normal hairdresser to correct the colour and roots and cut it shorter than my chin so the layers, which are for some reason as short as the tips of my ears, don't look quite as horrific.

In response to the reply:
Given that instead of using hair dryer stands to heat up the foils, the salon just turned up the heat with all windows closed and while customers were wearing masks, I would really rather not have gone back into a setting that was so incredibly uncomfortable and claustrophobic - the wash basin was also awful and my neck was sore for days after.
As for looking happy when I left, I was close to tears in the salon as I realised Matthew had put layers in my hair. By the time i was leaving, I was so grateful to get out of there and got an uber back to my accommodation so that nobody saw my hair because it was so awful.
As for recorrecting my hair, there was nothing that could be done about the cut since my hair had already been sheared. Coming back would've been pointless. The layers I did not want are still growing back months later.
As for why I am resubmitting my complaint, if you saw it in May, why has it taken you till now to get back in touch? You can see from the photos how awful the roots are - why not get in touch when I left the review and something still could have been done - a refund, etc.

Was a loyal but then judged harshly! Was open about medical conditions then told not to return as was exhausted and accused of being medicated or drunk!!! How human beings behave and then pretend to be nice people!when they moved salon we gave recommendations! Don’t go if you aren’t perfect ,,,,,,!!!💄
