I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SALON AT ALL. MOIRA IS EXTREMELY RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, DISRESPECTFUL, IMPATIENT AND UNKIND!!!!! I CAN SEE WHY PEOPLE HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT HER AND ALSO GIVEN HER 1 STAR REVIEWS.
Here is my experience...I booked with Moira via online to have my hair done in Braids and decided to visit her salon (Today) a day before my appointment. I wanted to ask Moira a question about my braids and also show her the hair I would like to use. When I arrived, Moira had a customer in the chair and was on the phone. She put the lady on hold on the phone and asked me what I wanted. I said I am happy to wait until she finishes. After she finished her phone call, I said to her that I have an appointment with her tomorrow to get my hair done in braids and I wanted to show her the style as I wanted small knotless braids. I also brought my hair extensions with me so I could show her the hair too as I wanted to make sure she was happy to use them as I'm aware some hairdressers prefer to use certain extensions.
All of a sudden, Moira started being extremely rude to me for no reason! Saying that she has no time to answer my questions, and that she wants me to send her a message. I said that I am already here and it's only one question I wanted to ask. To my shock, Moira started raising her voice at me and began to shout saying she only works on appointments EVEN TO ASK QUESTIONS. And she can't help me. (baring in mind I already have an appointment with her tomorrow to get my hair done). I said to her that if she doesn't want anyone walking in to her salon to ask her simple questions then she needs to put a sign up on her window so all clients/potential clients are aware. Then she continued to shout saying she has been working here for many years and she can do what she likes and she doesn't have to answer any hair questions. Whilst Moira was being extremely rude, I remained calm (because I was still in absolute shock and dismay by her APPALLING ATTITUDE) saying to her that this is not how to treat her clients. And this attitude she has is extremely unprofessional and she will drive many people away. Moira, continued to shout and be highly disrespectful to me!
The client that was sitting in the chair then decided to get involved and calmly asked Moira calm down. Then she told the client to BE QUIET AND NOT TO TALK!!! (So rude!!!!!) At this point, I was also upset and raised my voice and told her to stop shouting at me as I only came into the shop to ASK ONE QUESTION! That was the only time Moira then decided to be quiet after shouting at me for a good 15mins straight! (Ironically, she could have answered my question in 2mins and I would have left the shop, but she decided to take the unprofessional route!)
I WILL NEVER EVER STEP FOOT IN THAT SALON AGAIN! WHAT I EXPERIENCED TODAY WAS UNBELIEVABLE! NO CLIENT OR POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS SHOULD BE SUBJECTED TO SUCH DISRESPECT AND RUDENESS FROM A BUSINESS WHICH CLAIMS TO BE "PROFESSIONAL"!
NEEDLESS TO SAY, I WILL NOT BE ATTENDING MY APPOINTMENT TOMORROW!

In response to Moira's comment below, i would like to clarify again that i was a client! I am not a hairdresser and do not own a hairdressing business. I am glad that i have added the recommendations above to help other potential clients make an informed decision. Moira clearly does not have the decency to accept her fault and apologise for how i was treated today!! Such terrible service and extremely bad management!
