I have been attending Electric for a couple of years now, I though it was a nice, friendly place with great talent. As a regular customer I started experiencing rudeness from the art director not listening to what I wanted to achieve with my hair instead he would convince me on what suited me and what was best - even after I would stress what I wanted to do with my hair. I went back to Electric 2 weeks ago I colored my roots and had 8 highlights and toner go through my hair. The art directer still insisted on the colour i should go rather than listened to what I felt comfortable with. I was charged 205 pounds and ended up paying the money as I felt intimated with three staff members standing behind the till. I now am looking for another hair dresser to correct my hair and I will never recommend or attend electric anymore they have lost a loyal customer.

I've been to this place a few times, but my most recent visit was really special. Harley, one of the stylists gave me the best cut I've ever had — simply because she listened, was patient and had the skills for the job. I came in with shoulder length hair which I wanted to cut off and give to charity. Even though I was nervous going in, she immediately made me feel so much less anxious, and gave me a hair style that suits me down to the ground! Such a sweet and easy to talk to person. Really great work, thank you!

I had a restyle last Thursday (19/4/18) the whole experience from booking the appointment on the phone, to the cut itself was outstanding. Ruby cut my hair and was friendly and professional, talking through all the steps (I have bad experiences in other salons) I was totally put at ease and loved the end result - magician with those scissors! Most definitely my go to from now on. Thank you so much. xox

I really look forward to my hair appointments here with Scott. I am not a huge lover of having my hair cut, mainly because I leave hating it until I have washed it. NOT ANYMORE. I love having my hair cut and coloured here. Scott totally gets my hair and I actually love my hair for once in a long time. His skill in cutting and colouring is the best I have had in years. The atmosphere in the Salon is relaxed and the team are brilliant. Ruby, Lou and the rest of the team are all so welcoming. Five stars is not enough.

I had a men's haircut appointment with Amy on Thursday, 3rd of November. First of all, I would not recommend this service at all! I paid 55 pounds for a haircut done in 30 minutes, which I felt was rushed (in order to have as many appointments as possible before the lockdown)and on top of everything I believe it was a very bad haircut. Also, their website shows the prices for a men's cut starting from 30 pounds, so I wouldn't have expected to pay almost double. Lastly, they did not wash my hair before, which I would totally expect from any respectable hair salon, let alone one which charges 55 pounds. Had to go the day after for a new haircut at a different place.

TL;DR: Very expensive, terrible quality, would never recommend.

I love everything about them. Amy is bleaching my hair and doing an incredible job. Hair is not damaged at all, and it looks so natural that every time I'm shocked. It is a little pricy but worth every single penny. Top high-quality 👌 music is cool as well.

An excellent styling job done in a quirky but modern space with great attention to detail and comfort. Wasn’t cheap, but if you have high-maintenance hair it’s worth it.

I moved to Oxford in August last year. It's been a struggle to find a good hairstylist. I am Asain and have very straight short hair, which requires some technique to handle. I am also very particular about the style I want. Tried a few places all turned out to be very disappointing, including the famous Tony and Guy.I believe most of hairstylists are good technique-wise, not all of them are willing to really understand what their customers want.

I saw Scott has quite a lot of good reviews so booked an appointment with him. I knew soon after arrival that he might be the one who can give me a "happy" haircut due to the fact that he was willing to spend the first 5-10 min listening to me, and trying to communicate his understanding of my desired style back to me, instead of went straight into cutting my hair. It's not a difficult thing but so so few hairstylists realize how important it is. They don't give you the haircut that you want, but give you the haircut that they want you to have. Not to mention he periodically checked in with me during the cut to make sure I was happy with the progress.

I am extremely happy with the cut. It's a huge problem solved knowing where to go next time when I need a haircut instead of changing a salon each time like a homeless child. I couldn't recommend Scott more, including his technique, communication skills, friendly personality, empathy towards his customers, and more!
