Hadn't had my hair done for a while before coming here so my highlights had grown out quite a fair bit. Asked for highlights to frame my face, a chunky highlight in the middle of my hair either side and highlights underneath my hair at the back.

I would say the stylist did a good job and I was somewhat happy leaving the salon. I felt like my requests weren't listened to and the stylist sort of did her own thing - to an extent this is fine and I was open to it but I did have some concerns with the outcome of my hair.

My main concern is I asked for face framing highlights at the front, I said I wanted a feathered/blended look at the beginning of the session but as she was doing them I had to repeat myself as I noticed it was looking less feathered and more blocky if that makes sense? She did more of a feathered look on the rest but it was a little late but it seemed ok.

She continued to do the rest of my hair and left it to sit and develop. All fine until we got to the wash basin. It was all washed out and I had a great shampoo and condition. I later asked if they would add some more toner as my hair was looking very yellow. She said that because my hair hadn't been done for a while it would continue ti look like this and may need a further bleaching session. I asked perhaps a toning mask might help instead and she said no.

We continued, I had it styled. It looked slightly better but still very yellow. I paid and it came to slightly less than I had thought. I returned home and hopped in the shower to apply the toning mask. Left it on for about 45 minutes on wet hair and my hair was much less brassy and lighter. Not entirely sure what happened regarding the stylists advice but I'm a little disappointed.

An excellent haircut and such a very friendly place.Nothing too much trouble and I would recommend Dean and his staff to anyone wanting the best service and hair treatment available.

Dean and his team at U Hair Group are most definitely one of the best salons in Swansea. Dean has styled, coloured and cut hair for myself, my sisters and my mum for years.

However, today he pulled out all the stops to help my almost teenage niece who had had her hair botched by a mobile hairdresser. It was awful! My niece was in tears as was my sister.

Dean and his team accommodated my niece the same day, and the transformation is unbelievable!! We have a very happy lady again! Thank you Dean & Demi!
