Needless to say my order didn't arrive in the next 15 minutes either. It took another half hour, totalling 90 minutes, double the original time.
After having to call back again, at 90 minutes, no one would pick up the phone. At the time I got a call from the delivery person who said he was at my door, which was completely fictional. I told them to ring so I can buzz them in, to then have him then tell me that he will be with me in a few minutes (!)
Their service is non-existent and I'm never ordering from them again.
The chips weren't the best, but I did enjoy the burger and it was a pretty large burger too! Overall, the food was definitely worth the money and the free cake was a nice gesture :)
The burgers though - which supermarket did you guys buy them in (Iceland probably)? Blatantly frozen food just reheated, they tasted worse than the late night burger vans outside my uni halls back in the day.
To top it off, the apple pie I ordered was frozen!!
Its places like you which should be going bust and not GBK, Byron etc.
Burgers meet taste horrible.
Frozen desserts were delivered ... frozen!
Definitely not a good value for money.
2. My burger order was wrong
3. they sent me wedges as opposed to chips
4.They hung up on me when I requested a refund
Summary: Awful and unsafe
Food came cold ordered from just eat, was ham-fistedly wrapped and one of the most disappointing takeaways I have ever had.
The chips were straight from the freezer section of the supermarket and crinkle cut which I don't think I have seen since the year 2007. They were also somehow burnt but undercooked at the same time which is actually quite impressive.
Mozzarella sticks were hard, some over cooked while some fine at best. Better when reheated.
I ordered a BBQ burger but got the standard one instead which unfortunately wasn't enough to distract me from the fact that the meat tasted as if it came from the cheapest aisle in the asda freezers. Bang average at best.
All food was damaged (more of Just eats fault) but instantly after ordering the food, it was "with the delivery driver" so unless it was being delivered from a parallel universe, I highly doubt it took 30 seconds from oven to the road.
P.s didn't eat the complimentary cake as it also looked dry as well as if it came from a wholesaler due to its perfectly smooth sides making it look like handsome squidwards jawline.
