Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK)

Thursday night and restaurant in Bromley was quiet but I did choose to sit at the front where it was empty. The welcome from some of the staff was a little flat and felt like a conveyor belt. No draught lagers on tap despite two being on the menu. A little disappointed.

One of the best burger I had in long time and chunky fries are fantastic!!! I would recommend this place every day. Much better than 5guys !!!

I went at Lunchtime on a half-term Thursday, only one other table was occupied. I followed the instructions on the sign and waited to be seated but I was completely ignored. When I stepped further inside I was seated and greeted by quite a friendly person. You can view the menu, order and pay from your smartphone. The staff member was kind enough to watch all my shopping bags while I popped to the loo. The toilets were not that clean considering the place was practically empty. My food arrived promptly, it tasted fine and was definitely hot and fresh. It's average, if you're hungry and you like burgers pop in.

Only real down point is they don't tend to have my favourites stocked regularly, their onion rings are great but I've only gotten them once as every other attempt they're out.

Price range is pretty good for the size and contents, specials are good too. Service is usually pretty hands off once you have made your order, depending on who you are, you may prefer that or not, I tend to prefer it.

Staff services is okay but food wise is a bit problem. Order Fizz-psssion fruit but no sparkling water instead just still water and still charged me £3.00. Order onion rings but they don't had it than why put on the menu. Was looking forward for a onion rings to go with my burger. The burgers itself is fine.

Always a great tasty burger to be had from GBK. The service here was good too, the ladies were lovely and accommodating. Would definitely return to this site again as, the Fulham Broadway and Dulwich branches are far out from where I am now.

Food was incredible from what was left available from the menu although portions were small and I was still hungry after. They had no draft beers, no coke & no milkshakes. Was told only after we paid that they didn't have the draft beer then had to choose an alternative which worked out us losing money(or offered to be compensated). Not impressed but they chef did good!

Haven’t even started eating and it’s already the worst restaurant experience ever. Make me download apps, sign in with all my personal information without options to opt out of marketing material twice because there is no phone reception inside the restaurant. If I wanted to order on Deliveroo to a restaurant then I would order Deliveroo to my house. Half of the menu options don’t show on the app. After 25 min of trying and failing to get an order on the downloaded app, I had to get up and order from the till anyway. Whoever at this company designed this system has guaranteed that patrons literally feel beyond stressed and irritated before they can even begin to taste the food. In the time it took me to simply access an ordering system I could have cooked and eaten my own burgers at home. I came out with my family as a treat to be relaxed and enjoy an evening not cooking. I am so stressed out before even receiving any food that I don’t think I could enjoy it even if it did taste good. It better not be bad.
