A very handy little hardware store. Stocks all sorts of fixings, electricals, tools, garden items, etc that are hard to purchase now except either at out-of-town places like B&Q or on the internet. It's one of the last places in Exeter that stocks incandescent bulbs.

Good old fashion ironmongers which, though small, has a wide range of stuff hard to find elsewhere. I have used it for over 40 years and have often gone there after trying other places and realised I should have thought of them first. I am also a bee keeper so this is a very helpful addition to their stock. I called by phone to see if they were open during the Covid 19 epidemic but was diverted to the main Crediton branch. They had what I wanted and offered to deliver at no extra cost.. You can't get better than that.

Was really really sad to hear shop closing . A reallylovely friendly run family store they always give you personal service . You're always greeted in a polite manner . I heard they have been going for 50 years . Love that it's been a family run business. For that long . . Will be missed in Exeter for sure .

A veritable Aladdin's cave, full of goodies you never knew you needed! So sorry to see it will be leaving Exeter. Exeter's loss.

I wish I could leave a good review supporting local shops. I bought a glass hob cleaner that didn't do the job so I went back if I could exchange it. I arrived 15 mins before closing (impossible to make to the 5pm closure as I work) and they were pretty annoyed I turned up last minute. At least agreed to exchange it for something else but I was pushed so ended up paying £2.80 more for an oven cleaner. Then they admit they were aware that the product I bought in the first place is good for nothing. Which is frustrating that it was twice as expensive as anything in Wilko. I don't have money to waste, I just wanted to support local businesses but now ended up spending £6.99 and getting bullied a little. Sad, but after reading they're about to close I don't feel sorry.

The owner of the shop was rude used foul hand language and threatening behaviour , after asking if he had a certain item , just because me and my partner were not wearing masks , he discriminates against people who are exempt and with disabilities, I would advise people not to shop hear for their own safety
