This is a very nice place to shop. The staff are always helpful and if they don't have what you want they can usually get it for you. Reasonable prices too!

It's always great to shop locally and not get ripped off. This is one of those local alladins-cave hardware stores where every conversation goes

"Have you got..." "Yes we have..." and you think "how the heck do they DO that?"

And as other reviewers have said, if it's not in stock they'll probably be able to get it in a day or two.

Cashier was borderline rude, didn't see him before. Maybe just doesn't like paying customers...

I have used this shop over many years because its cheap and convenient. However, I've always found the owner rude. Apart from this, I also feel he will not allow customers to browse i.e. the minute you enter the door, he pounces, asks what you want, rushes off to find it and then appears insulted if you don't buy it because its not exactly what you are looking for. After he has now been rude to me so many times over the years, I have no other option than to go elsewhere, something I prefer not to do as I try to shop local.

Cheap kindling and firewood, when all the other shops have hiked the prices up. Let’s hope the prices stay this way 👍

Dave and Janette run a great business, the shop is like an Aladdin's cave, if they haven't got it then you don't need it.

An excellent selection of household and DIY products. Prices are fair and I have always found the staff cheerful and helpful.
