Brook's Basics

This shop is amazing! They had a very obscure bolt that I needed to fix a saucepan…and they even helped cut it to the right length. Cannot recommend it enough! Staff are friendly, and you can find SO MUCH of what you need in here: garden, DIY, kitchen, pets. It puts b&q, wickes, and other hardware stores to shame!! Thank you to the team at Brooks.

I LOVE this shop. It sells so many useful things, I love that it's local, service is great, it's a fab store for all your household stuff.

Brooks basics is the last of the true hardware stores. They have absolutely everything you can think of including bolts, screws, nuts and fittings that you can buy 2 of if you want instead of a pack of 20. Staff are really helpful and knowledgeable. If they don't have it, then you don't need it

Brilliant shop, loads of hard to find hardware items

As always, brilliant. Where else can you go and buy 1 washer, some chain, bird food, kitchen stuff, dog toys, stove paint...car stuff...lovely place with lovely staff and even a cute dog.
