Parkers Fareham

The most consistently helpful staff I've ever come across in any shop (and I've recently entered my 70th decade). I've been going there for years to obtain various items and often asked for advice which is willingly given and is always very good. The long serving lady is wonderful on both of those counts and the more recent male assistant looks like he'll carry on that fine tradition.

Like the other reviews say, this is a lovely little shop with a vast range considering its size. Prices are better than the big chains on a lot of items and many things can be bought individually here that are only available in multipacks elsewhere, such as screws, nails and many other items. Staff are very helpful, knowledgeable and always have time for you. It's like stepping back in time, coming here.

easy to get to a good range of products and social distancing. good advice from the lady as I bought plants and not exactly green fingered lol. the plants and planters I bought are coming up lovely.

This is a great shop full of everything you may ever need in terms of hardware and household goods. The staff are friendly, well informed and helpful. I have asked some fairly obscure questions about all manner of DIY jobs and have always found the answer helpful.
I am saddened to see a poor review from someone who is selfish and inconsiderate of those who are so vulnerable at this time.

I really need to explore this shop further, a delight of a broad range of goods for the house and garden. Today's eclectic purchases for me were numbers for a new wheelie bin, and weed killer, both acquired here. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will be back and promise to use Parker's as my first local choice in future; a great shopping experience.

If you remember when shops were shops, staff actually cared and knew what they were talking about and you could buy just 1 of something rather than a pack of 500 then you'll love Parkers. Possibly not the cheapest, but certainly the best (possibly only) hardware store around. Love them! Thank you.

Always good to have an old fashioned hardware store around , as you can find most an even obscure items here. Always a shade more expensive than superstore outlets , but worth it cos you can normally find what you're looking for 👍👍
