Great shop but my experience today fell well short of standard. The employee helping me on till 10 was rude. I tried to exchange an item they had given me yesterday (receipt etc) for the one on sale that I had initially asked for, and she copped a huge attitude. Then insinuated I was lying through her behaviour and directly telling me that I was wrong etc. I wasn't lying, the item has a tag saying half off right next to it describing the very product i was holding. Obviously she didn't give me the item and when I asked to just straight return the old one she huffed loudly and exchanged looks with the person behind us who was also annoyed we were "taking too long". We would have gone to a customer service specific till but we were directed to till 10.

Then when I asked for clarification on the price of my refund she passive aggressively whipped the receipt my way saying "see!".

Not what I would expect as I legitimately just wanted the product and I wasn't even kicking off about the lack of sale or the attitude, even wished her a happy new year! Would have been fine if she had said "it's no longer on offer" but to straight up tell me no the sign doesn't say that....is a bit much. We even have a photo of the sign 😅

Great experience in Wilko, went to get a few items and met Alima and Maddie.

The staff in Wilko don't get me wrong are amazing but these two were real diamonds.

Products in Wilko are affordable for everyday use.
Even if the shelves are not stocked with the product I want, there are always alternatives.
Wiko St Albans is always staffed, never a time when it was understaffed.

I have been shopping in Wilko branches from London to Hertfordshire since 2006 and they deliver excellent service

Wilco has lots of products that you need in a home at fair price. I have recommended it already and I am a frequent customer. I have ALWAYS been well well treated by your kind staff.

Good range of products at good prices. Plenty of seasonal items available. DIY section reduced in size. Garden section removed, maybe just for Christmas.

Wilko is a chain, slightly better than the pound shops, but only slightly better so don't be too excited!!

A fairly typical cut price store that is quite well laid out and well stocked. First visit left me unimpressed and we did no to find what we were shopping for but may have another look round another day.

Shelves need filling.
A lir of stock need pricing.
Staff helpful.

Found it's got quite expensive haven't been there for a long time didn't have what I went in for I now shop at savers and most things I buy are half the price to Wilkinson so sorry will not return
