I love this proper hardware store. The owner is knowledgeable and LOVELY. I buy household products at a premium vs the Sainsbury's down the road because I so appreciate having a real hardware store locally and want to make sure he stays there!

Terrible place to go. This was definitely not a hassle-free experience. I went here to see whether they sold laundry drying racks and they didn’t have any. However, the owner of the shop was constantly encouraging me to buy something and it felt like he was not letting me leave. I did not feel safe in this shop and will never be returning.

Helpful , friendly classic little shop of everything ... found myself in need of a few bits when working on a site locally , rang up and the owner identified what I needed and had it ready for me ten minutes later when I arrived . Brilliant

Excellent service from the shop owner who went above and beyond to ensure that I found everything I needed. Small businesses like this are what keeps our high streets attractive.

Friendly face and service, double points that I could do all my UPS returns and collections there in one go to!

Great little hardware store where you can find pretty much everything if you’re doing a bit of reno. Yes the prices are a bit high but it’s a small, local store, and avoids having to drive all the way to B&Q. Owners are super helpful and give good advice.

One things is that the timetable on Google Maps is not accurate. They seem to close at 1730, not 1800 during the week.

Very disappointing. Got two keys cut for a brand new lock only to get home and discover only one could be used. The other key couldn’t even go into the lock. Took the key back, the shop keeper had a look at it and tinkered with it. Got home, no improvement, decided to go back and ask for either a full refund or a new key to be cut, the shop keeper refused both. When I asked if he would compensate me for the time I had wasted his reply was, it's my time too. I can't get over how rude the shop assistant (owner, I believe?) was. Disgusting customer service. £12 for only one working key out of two and a horrible experience. Have since been to Timpsons at Fulham Broadway and received any excellent service.

A rip off store. Today i bought a small lavender and germanium which he charged £5 each. The geranium was actually very small and normally sells for £1.50. He also sold 2 small primula pots for £4.50 each. I should have walked out and left the plants. Primulas sell for max £1.50.
Do not buy your plants there guy is a crook.
