Pimms DIY & Hardware Store

Proper example of a good traditional English shop. Great service. Great availability of items and great prices. If you want just a single screw or half a metre of cable it’s not an issue. If all stores were like this we would probably still have thriving high streets.

Friendly, knowledgeable and efficient owners. Generally well stocked (if they haven't got what you need it's because they can't get it)!
Prices are reasonable and it's just round the corner.
A reliable and essential local business, just like in the good Old Order.

I’m not suggesting you all go out and make unnecessary trips but if you have something that really can’t wait, PIMMS DIY are taking the 2m rule really seriously. Only one customer and member of staff were in the shop at any one time. Lots of stock was outside too. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff on hand to assist, making it easy to get in and out quickly. For the most part, we were served at/ near the door with Patty doing at the leg work. I now understand why this little shop has survived with all the competition of the bigger chain stores.

This store has everything you require from a wide range of everything you can think of. Always polite and helpful staff

This Aladdin’s cave of all things household, hardware and garden was recommended to me via Facebook… I didn’t know it existed, in Kitchener Avenue, Gravesend, it’s off the main Road but still local to me.
It’s a local, family business with all sorts of DIY, hardware and household goods for sale.
I imagine most people will find what they need (or didn’t realise they needed) for sale within the shop or yard.
The people running Pimms are clearly hardworking and super helpful… Shopping there recently has made me realise what an asset this local business is and how important it is to continue to support such establishments.
I’ll be taking my trade there. You should pay a visit too :)

Great old fashioned DIY shop where you go to the counter and ask for what you need. Service with a smile. Really friendly and knowledgeable. Always my 'go to'. Fully recommend.

A hidden gem here. Lots of hardware items sold here. The owner is very helpful, friendly and always cheerful and happy to talk. Firewood, kindling and coal also sold here, cash or card payment and will even carry the very heavy items to your car.
