I love wilko.
DIY at pocket friendly prices. I usually go to buy 1 item and return home with a full basket. Their bicycle dept is impressive at very fair prices.

Super helpful and friendly staff! We needed to exchange a defective duvet and the person at the counter helped us and was very attentive. Also, the lady at self check out was very supportive and efficient. Definitely will come back!

This place is a MESS !! The staff have no idea what is going on ... the price on the shelf is of no use !!!! You get to the till and things come up as a different price and when you tell them the price is different on the shelf , they do not even care to go look but just make up their own price and tap it in ... what a joke !!!!!! In one transaction i had 5 issues and every time i bring it to their attention , they just dont even bother ... will definitely not be going back there !

Miserable staff here. At least half the self service tills are ALWAYS out of order. The will rather have long queues than open a till point.
But you can tell by looking at the staffs face that they hate working there.
Update. 25/06/22. Nothings changed.
Update 06/09/22. I was at the till about to pay for an item and it came up with the incorrect price. I told the lady that was assisting at the self checkout till. She told me she can't help as she's not allowed to move from the till area. I would need to find someone on the shopfloor to double check the price and bring them back to the self checkout to tell her the correct price.
I decided to leave the item behind and not make the purchase. Such a poor poor service. Sort it out Wilko East Ham. Everytime I come in, the service in your branch has never improved. Empty shelves as soon as you walk in. Unhelpful staff. Lack of staff available on the shopfloor for any sort of assistance.

East ham was very busy ,pick any item that wasn't coded and took 20 min to be served. I give a 3 as I also work in a retail environment. It nearly not sold to me as the couldn't find on the website stock checker matching same colour until I commented a dustpan is a dustpan

Most items priced wrongly on shelves, you go till to pay and then realise everything is double the price. Told the cashier didn’t seem to care. When dad went to shop also had the same experience with things priced lower then they actually are.

Arrived looking for bird seed, located bird seed, paid for it using cash. cashier was efficient, got correct change and receipt. I'd definitely go back here again. Absolutely recommend to anyone interested in going.

I like the store but you guys have the most bate undercover security - you literally catch them all peering around the ends of aisles at you and quickly pulling their heads away...plus the money you must be spending on them must be more than you're getting pinched - there were 3 different guys doing it during my last shop!
