We required a small number of hard to find No.8x2” chrome plated (on brass) raised head slotted screws to fix towel rails down through a thick stone floor. Luckily Andy at Screwsline had just the thing in his ‘back catalogue’ of vintage screws. Customer service impeccable.

Had struggled for months on end to source antique brass 3 inch screws for a light fitting from different hardware shops and screw suppliers. Fortunately stumbled across Screwsline online and Andy came to my rescue. His knowledge of screws is unrivalled, only surpassed by his genuine desire to help his customers. He sent me two sets of 4 x Vintage Grade brass screws so that he was sure I would get the correct size/spec I needed and left it to me to return the ones I didn't use.
