Always a pleasure to shop at bevans, the staff are very knowledgeable about the products the sell, they are always eager in their approach to helping customers. And of course the great prices that are not a gimmick, genuine low prices on all their products, why bother with the much larger well known stores.... Shop local and support local businesses.

I use Bevans quite a lot. Its a good local hardware shop where you can just pop up the road and get what you need.
Recently popped in for a paint brush for painting the fence panels, two new garden lights and some spray weedkiller.
Didn't have to go out of town - great.
Staff are helpful and friendly.

Didn't go to Bevens today but it's a great shop and has everything for DIY. Today I went to NEARLY HOME dog rescue shop and dropped off a few things. They do a wonderful job rescuing dogs that someone no longer wants, the staff are brilliant and so grateful for anything they can sell to help keep the dogs till someone comes to adopt.

Useful items for day to day use. It appears these stores are popping up all.over the place, hopefully they Will not become to corporate

Always grateful to Bevans for being there. So many times i have rushed up there for emergency things, today my boiler broke with the bad weather, and a 3 year old at home cold they thankfully stocked oil filled radiator, Faye put it to one side for me and i dashed up. Never a problem, always so helpful and so happy to have this little store on my doorstep. Please support local business especially during the pandemic. Use it don't lose it. Thanks to all the team as ever.

This is the place to go when, you need that certain screw size,rawlplug window catch, it's the last of the ironmongers shops left,you can buy paint ,garden furniture, bbqs,you name it they most likely ha e it, very pleasant and helpful staff.

Always helpful staff and a good range a stock for a small-ish hardware store. Definitely worth supporting over a trip to Homebase and the like.

Always been a brilliant store , sells almost everything you need , but even though they have signs everywhere about Covid they still let people in without face masks .
