Alderwood School (Senior site)

All 3 of my children attended here with a mixture of results. I put that down more to their effort than that of the teachers who are so badly restricted nowadays in how they can deal with disruptive children. That's down to the government and not really the school. Mrs Abbot is an excellent Head Teacher but she has lost way to many good staff in the past couple of years. I'm not sure the school can recover from that.

We have been to this school for many a functions. They have a decent hall there ideal for small functions. We have also made use of their playground, which is pretty big. Adequate parking available. Toilets are of poor quality.

Lovely school. Great facilities and fantastic teachers. Pupils are lovely to.

Only use the 3g pitch. Which is good.

We recently moved to this school from the primary and what a change in my child's attitude towards schooling, academic progress and willingness to do a homework! It seems my kid feels much better in this school then in previous and I am more relaxed now as the parent.
