The King Alfred School - an Academy

School has really turned a corner. They have got strict with uniform and student appearance and that is a good start. They are fast becoming a super school. and glad I sent my son here as he is coming on heaps and bounds. And is definitely benifiting from the direction they are taking the school.

The school has such a bad quality of care for their students that my darling has a panic attack nearly every morning and asks me if they have to go in. Do better.

I have bin bullied for over a year by the same boy I have bin hit twice or maybe more I have had verbal abuse for a long time and today my mum went to the police because we have had enough. ( I don’t recommend this school)

More of a prison cell than a school. Absolutely awful

absolutely horrible place. my sister had a panic attack (everyone thought it was an asthma attack at the time) due to bullying, which the school did practically nothing about and the teachers did nothing. they could see that she couldn’t breathe and the teacher didn’t care. when all the students started bugging the teacher, they finally decided to tell her to go to first aid. when they were called, her friends had to carry her to a wheelchair, and she had passed out. my dad got a call saying she was unwell and to come pick her up and take her to hospital, but he wasn’t told anything else. he arrived seeing his daughter passed out in a wheelchair. the whole time i knew nothing. i was just told that my dad had come to get me and that was it. i only found out after we arrived at the hospital. there are far more things that happened, but this was by far the worst one. so bad, in fact, that my mother stopped sending us to school and decided to move back to our home country. do not send your children here if you care about whats best for them.

This school is terrible they care more about homework and uniform more then the students mental health and they barely help you, the teachers are never on time. This school says they will help you but they really wont posters everywhere saying they’ll help but they wont 1/5 i cannot wait to leave this school and live a happy life

Some classes have nice teachers who care about your education and others have terrible teachers who really don't care for example 1 student didn't do any work for half an hour with no book out and the teacher just didn't say anything to him.
I personally like the food here although others don't, I don't ever seem to learn any life skills at this school although that probably goes for all schools.

School. They got rid of medical and made you have to where your school blazer after september 2019 and they also don’t deal with bullying correctly. Everything else is actually decent. The music department has been updated to be even cooler they even have music shows and performances that I have even performed in. They also have great things going on in Drama too. The music and drama departments, from what Ik, are actually really good but rest of school is kinda not so great.
