Can make a good waterfall / weir photo , but need to go back in the winter when there will be less foliage.
I have added a further shot taken in early December. A little less foliage now. I hope to go back in February and get another ,maybe some snow on the ground.
Now added a shot (January) where there was some snow.

Descend to the weir down the side of the road bridge on Myles Standish Way just before the Bolton Road traffic lights. Note that the side with the broken down style is far steeper than crossing the bridge and hopping over the barrier.

Lovely place to chill and relax if your stressed, the weir is loud this time of year (November) due to rain.

The weir itself is set just off the road side but just on the other side of the bridge the trails leading to the woodland start. It can be a little muddy so walking boots are advised

Great trail in the bush with plenty of people on foot and dogs in tow. Circular routes with a cafe at the car park.

Lovely and tranquil place , for parking you park at the duxbury woods and there is a path you can walk to see the lovely water fall would recommend be going there again
