Reasonable sized lake in Haysden country park. Next to the car park for Haysden country park, public toilets and cafe in the park where you can buy food for the many wildfowl on the lake. Also reasonable children's play area. The kids will also love feeding the ducks, geese and swans. Poplar walking, cycling and fishing area. Cycle path and foot path circle the lake making it easy going for all. Dogs welcome but if they are likely to chase the wildfowl they need to be kept on a lead.

I always like to go with the good weather, by bike or walking. Nice area for jogging, walking, playing with children or pets, enjoying the views...

Great for fishing pike or carp. Excellent for family walks, picnics, or even barby. Good for dog walkers. Kids can feed ducks. Also a tucker shack for hot snacks and ice cream. Toilets on site. Ample parking.😃

Peaceful place. There's a lake with ducks, geese, swans and other birds. Also lots of trails. A favourite for fishing, as well. On one end there is parking, a playground and a small cafe which I recommend, nice food, lovely customer service.

Nice place place for a walk / dog walk. You can cycle round half of the lake (which is part of a longer cycle route to NTonbridge and beyond). There's a hut serving DELICIOUS bacon rolls and coffee, and there are decent toilets and drinking water facilities. There's a good playground adjacent to the carpark.

Beautiful lake for walking around in Haysden Country Park. Good for exercise, a family stroll, or if you want a bit of time to yourself.

The area is well maintained, and the pathways are always clear and the vegetation is well maintained.

It's the perfect spot for photography, hopefully the ones I have uploaded can do it some sort of justice. If you like nature photography in particular this lake is a must visit as swans, geese, some cranes and other large birds. Lots of other interesting smaller birds too as cormorant and tufty ducks (as well as common mallards, and other common birds).

There is car parking nearby, and lots of access via walking.

A beautiful lake with cafe nearby. Tables and benches to sit on whilst sipping something cooling. Swans with cygnets and Canadian geese with Gosling's float on a lake bounded by banks of wild flowers. Wooden fishing platforms and dedicated spaces for disabled anglers are a well thought out touch to this fabulous spot.
