Historic beauty spot. There is a bronze age pathway you can walk along. Go in may/June to see the bluebells. In the woods you can still see the blockades that were put there to try to stop the advancing Romans. If you squint your eyes you can almost see the fairies that make this area so magical

Lovely place to walk the dogs but not much in the way of information about its history (like other parts of Colchester).

Lovely parkland with a beautiful lake, wonderful in the springtime as its full of bluebells

It's a place I remember from playing at in my childhood to taking the children and the pets for an exploration and walk and reminisce over the days gone by.
