The obelisk is pretty neat. It's definitely not wheelchair accessable, but you can see it from the road. You can get to it from a small path on Obelisk Way, it's through a small gate/fence that has a padlock on it. That said, the fence looks to be frequently hopped by people as it has a warn spot where people step to get over. I believe it's technically on private property, but it's no where near any houses, it's essentially in a bush on top of a hill. There's a closed up entrance (brick/plaster) on the far side that I wish you could get into, but you definitely can't.

A nice stone astronomical feature from days of yore. It was erected by Wharton, who also gave his name to Wharton Park. We sought it out as a thing to do.
It was used to determine north when the observatory was used for astronomical observations. Built in 1850 I think.
