This is a wonderful NT property in the centre of Salisbury. A small property and garden but still worth a visit. It doesn't have a Car Park like other NT properties. However there are 3 carparks within 5 minutes walk. Staff as usual are very pleasant. Lovely little garden to the rear. Has a good sized tea room considering the small size of the garden and house. Small gift shop to the rear. There isn't a second hand book shop here. Fantastic view of the cathedral from the bedroom windows. Well worth a visit if your in Salisbury.

This is a delightful National Trust property situated in the centre of Salisbury (within the walls). Not only are the rooms interesting but there is a large and well kept garden with a small but perfectly formed tea room at the end of it. Whilst I visited on a grey day in Autumn, I can imagine how good this place would look in the summer.

Historic house with an interesting history. Really felt like a family home. Lovely garden 😊
As part of your National Trust Membership /admission they have regular time slots for guided tours.

A very nice experience, went in the house with a small group of people had a talk about the history of the house and then we were left to explore.

I would highly recommend a visit to Mompesson House to anyone looking to immerse themselves in the rich history and culture of England. It's a must-visit for anyone with an interest in local history and architecture.

A must see! Right next to the cathedral, and rifleman museum. They even had a few rooms upstairs open today. The tour guides were very knowledgeable, and when they realized we didn't have prebooked tickets, they squeezed us on the last tour of the day!

My visit was actually out of hours to deliver furniture through work but very beautiful architecture and decor. I would like to visit again to check out the whole premise and learn more of its history.

As I only saw a limited part and my stay was very short I would have to score a conservative 4.5/5

Worth seeing if youre a National trust member. Not sure i would have wanted to pay to go in. Its nice enough.

Coolest thing about it was the secret door upstairs that lead to nowhere
