Historic castle. Free to visit. Limited parking for cars in the layby opposite the entrance. The castle is a single tower. There's a good staircase up to the tower, inside are three levels that can be accessed, by original narrow steps. It's worth the climb, for the fabulous views from the top. No picnic tables, so bring your own seating. No toilets. No staff. But the information boards are good. 😎 👍

There is a lay-by you can park in right opposite the entrance.
Its a nice little castle, only a tower on its own but still worth a look around and the views from the top are pretty good too.

A well built motte and bailey castle which you can climb all of its three floors. Lovely bit of history hidden away, well maintained and not forgotten. Visit would take not more than 20 mins unless you stay to take in the magnificent views of the Welsh mountains. There is no entry charge and dogs are welcome. Open almost all year round apart for a few days over the Christmas period. Opening times 10am-4pm.

Free! Fun to climb five flights to top. Just a circular keep with great view from top!

Breathtaking views from the top of this castle! No need to worry about booking or parking, had the whole place to ourselves. Just park up on the side of the road next to castle sign (4-5 car spaces) and you're practically there!

Parking is available in small lay-by opposite site. Originally the Motte and Bailey was built in late 11th or early 12th century. This surviving stone tower dates back to 13th century. There are metal stairs leading up to the main door and then stone steps up from the bottom to the second and third floor. Be careful on the metal steps as they are quite slippery when wet. The stone steps are quite steep.

Open 10am to 4pm but closed over Christmas period so check the Cadwr website for more information.

Free to visit. We had the site to ourselves when we went.

Amazing views of the surrounding countryside and the Autumnal trees. Nice little historic stop off.

Small castle, but genuinely a lovely one. Great views and the like, walks near by. Castle has information about it which I enjoyed.
