Currently not much to look at, Christ Church in Welshpool is open for one service each Sunday and from 12 to 3pm on Fridays to view the restoration.
The building is made of Welsh Granite and the style is reminiscent of a more conservative Gothic revival.
The church yard is rather unruly but has good views over the town.

A disused church being converted to a home. Fascinating lady who explained the project to us.

Disused church with sackfuls of atmosphere.

Christ Church is easily one of the most striking buildings in Welshpool. If you're into religious architecture, it's definitely worth checking out.

This being a restoration/conversion project in progress, the surrounding grounds are somewhat in disarray. Nevertheless, the building itself is most definitely photogenic and the location boasts excellent views of the town itself.
