Hayloft and Barn

My partner and I had the most wonderful stay in the newly refurbished The Hayloft. Angela was incredibly accommodating and left us to our own devices once we were settled. The grounds were beautiful, The Hayloft itself was comfortable, warm (thanks in part to the underfloor heating) and well stocked and decorated. This is the perfect lover's retreat, and the local market town of Ripon is only a short 25 minute walk away, so it's in a great location. Another local haunt, The Mason's Arms in Bishop Monkton, also serves a first class pint and excellent pub grub. I can't recommend The Hayloft more, you won't be disappointed.

Not a place I would recommend. Needs updating and a seriously deep clean

We loved our stay at the Hayloft, which had been newly refurbished and was comfortable, bright and cosy. Our hosts were welcoming and accommodating and we would certainly choose to stay there again. Highly recommend!

A great getaway. Ideal location. Very clean, tidy, tastefully decorated. Its lovely sitting by the lake in the sun with great views and chickens and donkeys for company.

Beautifully restored farm buildings and everything provided you need for a weekend away. We felt very at home here!

A blissful escape, perfect for a rural retreat around the Yorkshire Dales.

We stayed in the Barn, which was very comfortable for us and our two toddlers. It's very child friendly, equipped with stair gates (at the bottom of the stairs), kids movies, highchair etc.

The Barn was nicely furnished with all the comforts you need and the grounds were spectacular: two friendly donkeys, chickens, and a field full of sheep. The Barn was very comfortable and clean.

The location was great, well positioned for day trips around the Dales.

Would highly recommend and will stay again.
