I have been coming to this resort since I was a small child so I have a lot of good memories of this place. However, returning after a few years became a big disappointment. The place has become very run down and dated. The bungalow I stayed in had dog hair on the floor that hadn't been hoovered up properly & issues with mold behind the curtains. The swimming pool was dirty, especially the outdoor one and had missing tiles which could cause injury (we had reported this and nothing came about it). The bar was very lack luster and the food very overpriced for what it was.
One of the biggest disappointments was that the kids club had been cancelled and splash down (kids hour in the swimming pool with floats etc) was also non existent. There was not a lot to do for children in the resort as a whole so I wouldn't say it would be family friendly.
The location was beautiful and one of the few redeeming qualities. Most of the staff around the resort were really friendly except a couple in the reception area who came off very unwelcoming and bored.
Overall the stay was mediocre compared to what is was and the whole site needs updating. If it wasn't for the beautiful views then it would have been 1 star.

Wonderful location. Many good facilities... Great outdoor pool, though full of children when we were visiting.
Our accommodation was very spacious and generally very well equipped and clean... a little tired in places but no complaints from me.

The best stay ever. Absolutely lovely staff great services. Lots to do. We were blessed with good weather so it made everything even better. The setting is lovely. On our drive there it got late so driving was a little scary on the country roads especially the zigzagging bends but that's expected. The pools and stuff are perfect for families. Villas came with everything needed. Not far from things to do and for wet days is a lot of things to do on site which was honestly perfect. I really would visit again.

Beautiful quiet spot. We've never ventured into mid Wales before but this won't be our last visit. The resort itself has loads to do, but also loads of quiet spots to relax including a lovely little bar/restaurant. The apartments are a bit old and dated but really good size for the money and spotlessly clean and every member of staff from the girls on the front desk, to the bar team we're super friendly. Can't recommend this place enough and this part of Wales is truly beautiful 😍

Lovely stay, not what it once was but the surroundings are stunning. The jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were all in great working order, 10 minutes from a train station, so one can travel to the local beaches and towns.
On site is golf, table tennis, a spa as well as pool etc. Tennis courts, a bar with food (i didn't eat there).
Will go back again.

Staff were rude , just wanted some help in where the apartments were and they seemed to not care. The place was very dated. The views and grounds were amazing and great walks. We had a fabulous time just would of been so much better if the place was more up to date instead of my 30 year old brother having to sleep on a bunk bed and if the staff actually cared. Wish I knew his name but he just made me feel stupid!

I'm quite self conscious and this place had me on high anxiety. There are glass walls to the pool where visitors can watch the pool and jacuzzi and the entrance to both steam rooms. I didn't like the vibe at all. The gym is good but a small room. Could do with an overall upgrade. I would go again, but when it's quieter.

Myself, husband, 10 Yr old son and dog have just spent new year at this property. I can honestly say we were all wowed by it and shall be returning.
We stayed in a lapwing apartment which was huge...sleeps 6. Has 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, balcony, sauna, parking. Living area was massive with a huge TV!
Had more facilities in the apartment than we were expecting...fully operational kitchen, very well equipped. Huge fridge/freezer. Dishwasher with tablets Inc. Washing up liquid, kitchen towels, towels, bin bags, sponges for washing up, tea, coffee, sugar, milk...all the little thing that make your stay that bit better!
Hairdryer, heated towel rails with bath towels that actually fit around you and elemis hand body wash and shampoo.
The sauna in the apartment was great too.
It also had hoover, ironing board, iron, airer, feather duster...so much I was so surprised.
Beds and bed linen were fabulous.
Only slight downside is they are a tad dated and it could have been cleaner but for us it was perfect and we would return.
We used swimming pool whilst there, table tennis. We ate in the restaurant food was absolutely amazing honestly the best lamb curry I've ever had.
Super dog friendly which for us is huge, amazing views and lovely walks onside.
Bar was brilliant we went in every night.
Our first time to mid Wales and it won't be our last!
