Best Log Cabin

Just come back from am amazing time at the cabin. The cabin it's self is luxurious and very well thought out, with everything you need, including a lovely hamper. The views from the deck of the lake are beautiful and so tranquil. The fishing was great, and good size fish 16lbs carps and 18lbs cats, we didn't manage any records but we caught enough... I highly recommend this place... was the restful peace and quiet I needed. Beautiful. Thanks so much.

We have just returned from this absolutely stunning cabin and can not thank Chris and Tracey enough!! We arrived to absolutely gorgeous decorations and balloons for my partner's 30th birthday, an amazing and generous welcome hamper and a stocked fridge. The bed is the comfiest we have ever stayed in away from home, not many places bother with good quality bedding either but it was much appreciated!! The lake and scenery is stunning. My partner is a keen fisherman and was blown away by the idea of fishing off the deck with the lake to himself! Sadly no catches for us this time but we will 100% be returning, what an incredible place. Thank you so much, already recommended to lots of people!!

Honestly the most magical place! The lodge was stunning, so warm and cosy. Waking up to the Highland Cows and the Donkeys was amazing and the welcome basket with fresh ingredients from the farm (plus the fizz) was so inviting. It’s so dog friendly that everything was easy. The hosts Chris and Tracey are the perfect mix of welcoming but also leaving their guests in peace. The location (just over an hour outside London) was perfect for a quick weekend trip. Reasonably priced, the hot tub was such an added extra, and the surrounding pubs and walks etc are amazing. We can’t wait to visit again!!!!! Thank you again Green Lane Farm ❤️

Absolutely stunning, the cabin and its surroundings are beautiful.
The cabin has everything you need for a short or long stay. It is cosy, romantic and peaceful. The bath is amazing.
The log burner really warmed the cabin up and it was beautiful looking out across the lake to the fields and highland cows.
Our beautiful staffy rescue Absolutely loved her holiday there she loved exploring the island and the area around it and was fascinated by the cows and all the other wildlife.
There were plenty of bridal paths to take long walks with our dog.
You have the whole lake to fish on which my husband absolutely loved.
We can not recommend this place enough and can not wait for our week there later in the year.

I stayed at the Apple Tree Cottage here for 4 nights in May. Great location, pub and local shop within a 15 minute walk. Although the cottage is located on a working farm, it was very quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was really nice, pretty large for 2 people, although it did bleach the colour out of my bikini and it took about 2 days to stop smelling of chlorine.
The cottage itself was well equipped, the welcome hamper was very nice. The dressing gowns were nice and cosy.
The thing it didn't have which would have been much appreciated was bubble bath or salts, something to enjoy in the lovely tub.
The porch door was broken which was a shame as we couldn't use it for its purpose of taking muddy shoes off without getting wet.
Overall it was a nice few days, not totally convinced it was worth £175 a night, but a lovely short break.

Best log cabin is an amazing holiday let . Set in the countryside of Newdigate surrey . Beautiful views, amazing scenery. The cabin on the lake is stunning inside and out. A great little place for a mini get away. Also a great place to take a walk with the dogs/hike/bike ride or even a casual stroll. The owners are welcoming friendly and just really lovely people. Looking forward to booking the cottage with the hot tub. Highley recommend. Either for a romantic getaway or girlie night or lads night .

We have just spent 2 nights in this beautiful log cabin. We should have been there for our wedding nights last year but the pandemic saw us change the booking a few times - in the end we decided we just needed a break. What a place, the fantasticly appointed cabin had a really cosy atmosphere with a comfortable bedroom with lovely linens. The copper bath tub was amazing and the kitchen had every thing you would need to cook up a lovely meal. We had great weather so were able to take the little boat out on our own private lake whilst the highland cows watched us from the other side. We met the Donkeys and the resident dogs Jasper and Hattie. Our hosts Chris and Tracey couldnt have been friendlier. We have already booked their other cottage for our wedding next year - a wonderful quiet and peaceful get away and one we highly recommend
