This place was great to stay in. It was clean and cosy with lovely decorations. The views from the windows were stunning and we enjoyed walks from the doorstep across fields, through woods and down to the river close by. The beds were comfy and it was so peaceful at night we slept like logs! I recommend a stay here, it is a calming getaway and great to have an open fire.

This cottage is a beautiful escape from the countryside for myself and my family. It is clean, quiet and peaceful with great view up and down Swaledale valley.
There are footpaths from the door - my favourite is out across the neighbouring field, down the hill onto Marrick steps in the woods and onwards down to the river and into Reeth where there are pubs, a good shop for supplies and an ice cream parlour.
This cottage has everything you need from a country break - all your kitchen equipment, a big full bookshelf, DVDs and games for if the weather is bad. I highly recommend it for a recharge and relax.
