A beautiful, comfortable, home-from-home experience and we couldn't have felt more welcome. The chalet was exceptionally clean and the welcome touches gave a real 'wow' factor as we arrived (a welcome message, a handmade pouch and 'posh' biscuits). The chalet is big enough to be comfortable but still feels cosy, it honestly has everything you need and you never feel like you are imposing in someone else's space. The outside space is PERFECT for al-fresco dining and even has space to dry any washing you decide to do. The chalet alone earns all 5*s.
When you take the location into account, it takes it to the next level. It's tucked in a wonderfully tranquil cut-de-sac, but within 3 minutes you are faced with breathtaking views. It's a comfortable stroll down to a beautiful peninsular which leads nicely onto Mumbles promenade. Mumbles is an incredible place, and the Coastal Chalet is the perfect place to explore it.
