Tros Yr Afon Holiday Cottages and Manor House

This place is an absolute gem. As we are two families who holiday together so needed to sleep 10, the main house sleeps 18 comfortably - everything we needed was there, it felt like a home from home. The private gardens were beautiful and included facilities for tennis and a trampoline. Location is great with lots to see, the Penmon point, lighthouse, castle, pebble beach and nearby Beaumaris. My daughter panicked because she left her iphone and it was delivered back to me, no fuss or charge. We will definitely be making a return trip in the future.

Beautiful building in a stunning setting not far from picturesque Beaumaris. Our holiday cottage was really lovely,very spacious and well stocked. We had a very friendly welcome from the proprietor , James and would highly recommend it here especially for larger parties as found out that all of the cottages could be rented for weddings or other events. Very peaceful place. We all fell in love with it.

We love it. James and Ronnie (now retired) always do their best to make you feel welcome. We normally stay in the 'big house' but we've also stayed in the cottages too.

It's also a great base to explore the rest of the island further. There's a nice shale beach literally outside the front door. There is plenty to do in nearby Beaumaris with castle, great little pubs and restaurants.

Fantastic - highly recommendable! My family and friends (4 adults + 3 kids) spent a wonderful weekend in this place and cannot recommend it enough. The site is beautiful and gives kids the opportunity to run around and have fun (kids' highlight: 2 cats, Money & Penny). James, the owner, was great and even let us have a ride on his quad bike (daddy's highlight...). We will certainly be back - thanks James!

Cottages were run down, every time you turned the shower or tap on it sounded like the entire house was about to take off. Needed some love. Staff were lovely though and grounds were nice

We loved it, everything we needed was there, it felt like a home from home. The location and the building were beautiful.

Overall very nice and quiet place to stay for vacations. We stayed in 4 bedroom cottage. Keys were left for us at the door and soon we checked it James was there to greet us. All the basic amenities were present except a hair dryer but we never asked for it and I am pretty sure if asked James would have provided it.

2 double rooms and 4 single beds in 2 bedrooms. Very large living room and dining room.

Loved it, beautiful cottages to the north of Beaumaris. The house we were in had everything we needed for 2 families.
Would definitely recommend it.
