Such a lovely place to bring preschool children and Babies. Loads of toys and yummy coffee/tea and cakes. Just the right size for mums to relax and let the children play without worrying about chasing them about.
Really lovely atmosphere, like sitting in your own living room without the hassle of tidying up.

Lovely play space and cafe, toys are simple but engaging. Outside area is great, makes for a really relaxing experience, kids (1 and 3.5) were fully occupied.

Brilliant concept. Warm welcome, friendly staff. My daughter really enjoyed it.

The most relaxing coffee and cake I have had in a cafe for a long time! Will definitely go back 😊

The most child friendly place I've ever been to. With good coffee/tea and great company, there's no better way to spend a few hours with the children.

A lovely friendly little place to take my 18month old grandaughter to play. Lots of old fashioned toys to play with and dress up in. Nice cakes and lunch for little one .

Good coffee and an excellent place to bring your young children to play. If I had one criticism the car park could be bigger, hence four stars. 'nuff said!

We stayed here for three nights with our two young children and it was the perfect place for us.

Extremely comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Excellent shower, well equipped kitchen with coffee maker (bonus!).
Plenty of space (indoor and outdoor) for the kids to play, lots of lovely toys, books and magazines. The outdoor space is completely secure which saved us having to chase the kids around to make sure they're not escaping, essential for parental peace of mind and relaxation!

We did some lovely day trips to Jimmy's farm (kids loved the woodland walk here, seeing a peacock for the first time and feeding the animals), Pin Mill (beautiful spot on the Stour estuary with a pub, boatyard and little green with tyre swings), Beth Chatto's garden (which was surprisingly kid friendly with a field out the front with a grass maze for them to run around in, away from roads and fenced in). Also visited Grayson Perry's A House for Essex which was stunning, even saw a little owl on the way there, sitting in the road. We will definitely be back, there's so much more to see in the local area, and such a relaxing place to stay.

A really clean and comfortable barn with welcoming hosts - we loved the coffee, bread and brownies - all delicious. Handy to have the option to buy wine and snacks too. Thanks for letting us stay! We will be back again!
