The Old Dairy was a wonderful place for us to explore the beautiful Peaks from. It was immaculate & everything was of a very high standard and so cosy. Julie was a wonderful host & made us very welcome going the extra mile to add a birthday banner for our celebration - Thank You.
The Hope Valley area has some excellent walks, many are right on the doorstep, and we had a fun day in Buxton & at the Derwent Reservoir.
We will be coming back & keep our fingers crossed that we are once again blessed with good weather.

We had great days on Oaker Farm, which is located in the heart of the Peak District and a great spot for hiking. The cottage was absolutely clean, well equiped, and nicely decorated. Also, the whole farm is very lovely and in a great condition. We can highly recommend this place!

An absolutely gorgeous cottage at the end of a lane off the main Hope Valley Road. Superb in every way. You won't need for anything in terms of comfort, cleanliness and peace. You can walk directly from the cottage in the hills. However, just 30-45 minutes drive and you are at Chatsworth House (just Wow!), Buxton, Victorian Spa Town or Cromford Mill of Arkwright fame. We will certainly book again when in the area.

It's a beautiful place. Tidy, comfortable well equipped, wonderfully situated fir walking or just sitting about. The only one tiny thing I could think of changing is that with matching towels for all four of us, it's quite hard to keep track of which are whose.
The views are wonderful, the cottage itself and outside courtyards are restful and perfectly maintained. The birdboxes and feeders are lovely, we watched swallows, wrens, robins and a woodpecker visiting.

An ideal location to stay for exploring The Peak District. We stayed in The Dairy which has all the facilities you need for a self catering break. The cottage was very comfortable, great after a day walking, and has great views from the upstairs living room. Good over bath shower and cosy bed. Julie was friendly and the lemon drizzle cake, on arrival, went down very well :) Would certainly recommend staying at Oaker Farm and we hope to return in the future.

Stunning and relaxing location and the most comfortable and quality accommodation.
We stayed in Haddy's Hut which is a gem of place to stay.
We were met by Julie who explained everything and when we walked in to the hut we're met with the most bright and clean accomodation and an amazing home made cake 😃.
A bright and cosy accomodation with all you need for a stay.
All facilities here are spotless and top quality.
We enjoyed 2 evenings sat outside with fire pit and marshmallows and enjoyed the peace and stars.
Great place to base for walks and visits to local attractions. There is a railway station 30 mins walk away, if required.
We visited the Cheshire Cheese pub 20 mins walk away and had great food and service.
Overall, amazing hosts, amazi g accomodation in the most relaxing and peaceful location. Will definately visit here again.

Our stay in the Old Dairy at Oaker Farm was everything that we'd hoped for. It was a lovely, cosy cottage with everything that we needed and was peaceful and surrounded by dramatic countryside. We chose this spot so that we could go on a few walks and were delighted to find a couple outside the door. In the evenings the village of Hope offered a choice of eateries. The Cheshire Cheese has lovely food or the Curry house on the main road offers equally good meals. In one week we've barely experienced all that the Dark Peak area has to offer and look forward to returning.

Oaker Farm is situated in a superb location at the end of a quiet country lane but within easy and accessible reach of amenities. Wonderful scenery from every window and numerous walks direct from the doorstep. Having now stayed in all cottages and Haddy's Hut we can honestly say the high standard of accommodation, attention to detail and level of cleanliness is apparent throughout. Stephen and Julie are always friendly and welcoming and work hard to achieve such wonderful holiday accommodation.
