The Orchard

We spent a wonderful week here in Jasmine Lodge just before Easter. The location is wonderful (you can easily walk to the sweet town with plenty of pubs and restaurants), the lodges are really high spec, utterly clean with lovely touches (sloe gin and chocs on arrival), robes and slippers for each guest. It is so relaxing and peaceful with lovely walks and beautiful countryside on the doorstep. Richard and Shona were on hand if we had any queries and always got straight back to us. Our kids loved the hot tub and our dog loved the freedom and the 2 lovely black labs that live there. I've recommended them to lots of friends and we are already planning our return! You've booked a winner if you are staying here!

Just back from another fantastic weekend. Stayed in Jasmine lodge this time. This is the only accommodation I have ever stayed in where the hosts ask you for the ages of the children so they can leave out age specific toys and dressing gowns. Lovely walk into town, not too far even with a 4 year old. The children loved the chickens and our dog had lots of safe space to run around in. Can not recommend enough, definitely be back again. Fantastic family stay, great for kids of all ages. In a fantastic setting within a great location with bundles to do in the local area. We will definitely be booking to come back soon.

11 of us stayed across all 3 cabins for 2 family members joint 60th and 75th birthdays. We had an amazing time. You feel like you're in the middle of nowhere but Hadleigh itself is a few minutes away. Lodges were imacculate and the hot tubs were a lovely touch. The hosts were fabulous and thoughtful, even leaving out a teeny dressing gown and age appropriate toys for the 3 year old in our party (which he played with not stop). There was a lovely playground and a huge field on our doorsteps which the 2 dogs in our party loved. I especially loved the log burners in the 2 larger lodges and they were a nice bonus. Hope to come back very soon. Thanks for having us Richard.

Just had the most amazing weekend at The Orchard! A group of us rented all three lodges for a birthday celebration. All lodges were beautiful and had everything (plus more) that was needed for our stay. The chunky robes and slippers were an added bonus! The hot tubs were just so relaxing to be in looking out at the countryside and listening to nature. We also enjoyed visiting the hens in the morning and collecting eggs for breakfast! Thank you Richard and Shona for a wonderful stay in your lodges and for the all the carefully thought out details and extras! We are already booked in for next year!

Just got home from our stay at Jasmine Lodge as a surprise for my mum's 60th birthday. We all had an amazing time and my mum was over the moon. Stay exceeded our expectations and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others wanting a special place to celebrate or a nice treat away. A BIG thank you to Richard for letting me nip in a little earlier than check in to decorate the lodge.

This holiday retreat is brilliant. We have visited here twice now and will be coming back again too no doubt. It has three wooden lodges which share a good size private field equipped with playground outdoor games and a chicken coop. The lodges are very well fitted with all the usual amenities like dishwasher fridge/freezer en-suite bathrooms etc. There are ample plug sockets and USB ports throughout. Tassimo coffee machine and Bluetooth speakers are nice additions too. Hot tub, decking and loungers, fire pit, pizza oven and barbecue are all reasons why this place is so great. It’s such a great place to come and relax. I highly recommend this place for a short break or longer holiday. It’s the best. The owners are super friendly and very helpful. Top marks 👍🏻
