You can't fault the location but the property is looking a little tired in that the kitchen stools need replacing as bits coming off them. The kitchen needs a good clean the baking trays left in the oven had surface rust on them. When we arrived we had to clean the fridge and dishwasher properly as gunk on them. The itinerary states a shared freezer but there isn't one? Lastly the pictures showing on the website are old ones.

August 2022: This was a return visit having been here when my grandson was only just walking, now he (9) and his younger brother (6) were exhilarated by the adventure garden, its moorside position and the view looking down on upper Swaledale... proclaiming "we never want to leave here... ever". I feel very much the same myself. This rapidly became home from home, the peacefulness of gentle wind in the trees by the gill, the bleating of sheep, the calling birds, the red kite swinging above us, then the silence and darkness of the lightless night... the sun rising and revealing the astonishing beauty of this glorious dale. How could we ever have left it... how do the owners ever leave it? Thanks for letting us share this wonderful home.
