Just got back from a wonderful bank holiday stay at Finlake lodge #38 feeling super relaxed & it was just what we needed! The view from the balcony is amazing, even sitting on the sofa in the morning you can see it, it’s lovely to wake up to. My 2 children thought it was fab, lots of little rabbits & ducks hopping around outside the lodge it’s lovely. Clean, spacious, lots of info in the book when you arrive which is super helpful. Beds comfy, TV with Netflix & a DVD player also a great touch once you’ve worn the kids out with all that swimming. Activities on site are great, horse riding was a big hit. Restaurant literally a 5 minute - if that - walk from lodge. The lodge is in a nice and quiet area to unwind. Denise was a lovely host & easy to book in with. Would love to visit again :) thank you very much for having us!

We stayed at Finlake lodge 38 for the Jubilee weekend, it is a fabulous place with lots of facilities and surrounded by beautiful woods perfect for walking. The birdsong was stunning first thing in the morning. It is also central to lots of great attractions, so a fantastic location. It’s great for couples or families, there really is something for everyone at Finlake.

Just returned from a fantastic holiday at Lodge 38. The lodge is stunning and has everything you could possibly need. Lovely touches such as the welcome pack (bread, eggs, milk toiletries etc. Very clean and is in the best position for the swimming pool shop and restaurant. The view from the balcony is amazing. Loved watching the sunsets. Board games and dvds also provided. Denise provided all information before arrival that you could possibly need making booking etc very easy. Will definitely be returning next year

Toasty Warm in December
We had a fabulous mid-week break in this lovely little Lodge just before Christmas 2022. I was slightly concerned that we might be cold there but need not have worried. The heaters kept us lovely and warm. The kitchen had just the right amount of equipment, the Lodge was scrupulously clean and the view from the front windows and balcony was probably one of the best on the site. We will definitely return this year. If you're hesitating about booking, then just BOOK - you won't be disappointed.

A great retreat for a relaxing or an energetic break . A very comfortable fully kitted kitchen , including dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Elevated views to across the valley and Hills. A good base to start from to look at the endless places in Devon to visit. Finlake Park itself has all the facilities you would need for a lazy day relaxing with a snack ,drink or leisurely swim in the warm indoor pool. I loved it .

Just spent a chilled out week at Finlake Lodge 38. A wonderfully spacious cabin, fully set up for your day to day essentials. Beautifully clean with crisp bedding on the main double bed and the second bedroom bunk beds, along with a set of towels for each person.
Comfy sofa from which you can choose to watch the tv or look out onto the edge of Dartmoor. The sunsets are fantastic.
All in all Lodge 38 makes an excellent base for exploring the local area or as it mostly was in our case because of the rain, a perfect place to chill and recharge.
