I really love this part of the world as I do a lot of walking around the area.I have been looking into buying a static caravan in the area and I went to view the Forest of Pendle Holiday Park. The receptionist Karen was very friendly and helpful and was very informative. The park is very clean and has a nice play area for children and is also pet friendly site.I would highly recommend this park , the veiws from here are absolutely stunning👍

We have now been on this lovely park for nearly four years. There is a great community spirit here on the park and people are always willing to help one another. The park is in a lovely setting with great views of Pendle Hill and the surrounding countryside. Plenty of wildlife around which roam freely round the park and is a joy to see. The park is dog friendly and there are some lovely walks in the area and some lovely country pubs to visit. I would thoroughly recommend this park. It is well worth a visit. We looked at other parks but chose this one because of the amazing views and the peace and quiet. We have never looked back.

I have lived here for 6 months on recommendation from my son and daughter in law. The park is clean and friendly giving a real community feel.
The views are fantastic and there are so many lovely walks in the surrounding countryside.
Paul the manager is so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. I must also mention Karen who runs the office who is also helpful and friendly.
I would definitely recommend this lifestyle and park. Can't wait for summer.😎

We purchased our first static caravan three weeks ago at the Forrest of Pendle and so far we are absolutely delighted with our decision to buy here.

The surrounding views need to be seen to be believed, they are amazing.

After visiting many other holiday parks in the area, we knew straight away this one was for us. This park gave off a piece full happy vibe straight away.

If you like a pint and a bite to eat like myself you will not be disappointed here, there are several pubs within 1.5 miles that are very welcoming and none more than the Bay Horse which is no more than 500 yards away.

Finally I would like to say that you will find the staff friendly and helpful here, especially Paul, Karen and Kayleigh.

To us this is a five star holiday park all day.

It will be 2 years this year, that We bought our caravan at the FOP Leisure Park...& we definitely feel that it was the best move for us !!
The surrounding scenery & abundance of wildlife is incredible, idyllic & so very peaceful . Initially, we were saddened as the former manager didn’t seem to have the motivation, inclination or the heart to do much to build on improving the park. But the past is the past....
However, fast forward to 2021!!!
Now we are talking...our new manager has got some fire in his belly!!!!
There have already been some huge improvements to the park and many planned for the future too. A breath of fresh air- both Paul ( manager) & Karen(office manager) are happy to help where& whenever they can.
Paul is open to residents suggestions and he is more than willing to make things better for the park & us the residents.
The park has such a great community spirit-there’s always someone willing to help-which has been an absolute godsend for us-Great neighbours!!!

If no stars was an option that's what I'd choose. Many of the 5 star reviews are recent as the new manager asked for them! Some are written by staff members Many comments refer to owners living on site, but the site doesn't have a residential licence.
The referral to a lovely quiet site surprises me as all of last season they were ripping up trees and gouging out the hillside to squeeze in more bases Machinery rumbled around all day, every day. A huge fly tip appeared at the top of the sitThe bins were overflowing.
We were charged £40 for a barrier card which was dodgy from day 1 and had to be left open
I commend the new site manager for his hard work. He has residents eating out of his hand and managed to get them cleaning up the park for him; as if they aren't paying enough in fees to employ someone to do it. But he IS ONLY the manager; he doesn't make the rules and when his face no longer fits, he will be gone. I was on site for 36 years, so I'm not giving a visitor's viewpoint. The first two owners were brilliant, but the place has gone downhill since these owners took over.
Many owners have been forced off when the 8 month site licences were discontinued.
Some like me, are in legal disputes. Others have given in, paying £2,500 and relinquishing their vans I have since seen these vans on sale for £14,995. They gave NO VAT or rates reductions during COVID. Decide whether to buy or not, but make sure you're informed
