The whole weekend camping experience with our two grandsons (aged 5 & 3) was very good indeed. Friendly and informative welcome at Reception. Indoor pool was warm and not at all busy, even though the site was full. We used the clubhouse between 6pm and 8pm and the entertainment was spot on - fun and interesting (ours loved the animal show and science show). Facilities across the site were generally clean, washing up water really hot. There is noise from the nearby train line and A road, but we will definitely return.

Liked: Literally superb every last detail was immense. Pitch right next to toilets and pool.. Perfect weekend break. Staff were lovely. Clean tidy and respectful punters. The night owl was immense with so much for the kids. Coming again very soon!

Disliked: Coming home

Liked: The facilities were clean and there were plenty of them. The outdoor pool was great fun for the kids. The indoor pool was lovely and warm and a good depth for us all (although you do have to pay to use this one). Food from the restaurant and take away was delicious and good value for money. Entertainment in the club house was good for both adults and children. The shop was well stocked and open for plenty of time each day. Really easy access as just off the m5 and close enough to large Tesco for all your eating needs. Level pitches with plenty of space between them. Easy access to water and electricity, although you do need to ensure you have a long electricity cable as some of the pitches are quite far from the plug connection. Good and affordable laundry area. Free WiFi available in the bar/restaurant and good mobile signal across the site.

Disliked: The outdoor pool is bookable each day from 7pm the night before however it books up VERY fast which was quite frustrating for our young children when the weather was so hot and the pool looked so tempting!
The water temperature in the showers was far too hot making it hard to get the children clean as they didn’t want to be under such hot water.

Liked: The park was very easy to find, straight off motorway, accessible to our planned activities

Disliked: Not being able to access wifi even though we offered to pay for it. Felt we would of sooner paid a little extra for the privilege.
Without wifi we had to go out of our way to book the pool. Didn’t see the need for every pitch to be allocated 8 people per pitch. Felt this harboured space in the pool when we knew not everyone had 8 to the pitch. No reason the pool should be slotted to an hr, the pool wasn’t even that busy to warrant this. The life guards were inconsistent with asking for passes. 2 days we wasn’t asked, cued up again was refused entry till we went and got it. Same day they let several families in without even moving to check. Double standards springs to mind. Also when the life guards are meant to be watching the pool they’re too busy messing around chucking each other in.
The clubhouse would’ve been utilised a lot more if it wasn’t extremely hot inside. No windows or doors open. It was worse than being in a greenhouse.

Liked: The magic show was amazing, nice that they have shows for both adults and kids. kids loved the park and outdoor pool. As a whole it was a nice place for a family holiday. Hot showers. Water taps everywhere. Good park.

Disliked: Price was expensive for what was there, no gluten free food available for children so had to pay £15 for a adults meal for them to waste most of it. Ticket prizes where crazy high to get cheap toys, completely unfair for the children to get anything. Rip off. £3.50 each to swim on rainy days. Outdoor pool was full of bits. Not able to make the day by the pool as limited to 90 minutes only, even when it’s quite. Had to pay extra for car to go on site.

Liked: Toilet/shower facilities and the pools looked great. Saw kids enjoying the adventure playground.

Disliked: Got very crowded at times, little attention to people sticking to the basic rules and distancing. No facility for motorhomes to empty integral gray water tanks and only one tap with appropriate connection to fill integral tanks by hose.

Liked: Lovely clean site, welcoming and informative security guard when arrived as we were late, friendly staff, swimming pool was clean and a good size. You can hear the road but it didnt bother us at all. Shower blocks and facilities were very good, clean and spacious. Entertainment was good especially the bingo :-) Pitches are very well spaced out, plenty of room.

Disliked: We didnt have enough personal holiday to stay longer.

We spent a really nice day and a half there. We had a super pitch which had all the amenities. We had access to the Night Owl entertainment, where we had a well cooked meal from a good choice of menu. A well stocked bar, and entertainment. We paid a little extra to stay on last the 10 o'clock exit time, and really relaxed. There is an indoor pool which we didn't use, because we didn't bring our swimwear. We will be going back again.
