Very quiet small park. Good for an escape to the country. Not many facilities on site but don't really need it. Lovely views

Some friends of ours visiting from abroad stayed here recently and found their accommodation to be small and cramped - unlike the pictures on the website. Lovely location although the site itself is particularly hilly. Excellent food in the bar/restaurant and there are several bars and restaurants in nearby villages.

Pleasant caravan park, almost within sight of Pendle Hill. Our problem was with access as my wife has a blue disabled badge and has problems with steps. Despite calling when we first booked and being assured that we would just have three steps up to the van we were allocated one with a flight of about ten additional steps.
This was swiftly corrected but we ended up in a smaller caravan with no proper dining table.
The accessible route to the bar was poorly signed and we only discovered it once we had struggled up steps and asked one of the regulars.
Other than that it was clean, friendly and relaxing but the site needs to think more about accessible facilities.

Lovely quiet park in a stunning area with easy access to numerous places, including the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. We stayed in a Bumblebee, a cosy one bedroom caravan, well fitted out and ideal for a couple. (Point to note is that the Park is quite hilly in places.) The Steamer Inn is great, serves good and not too expensive food. Great views from the verandah. If you want a lively holiday this probably isn't the place for you, but we loved it and will definitely return.

Set in beautiful country side within easy reach of lovely walks and places of interest. Caravan was comfortable and well equipped. Site ws clean. Dog friendly. Could do with a shop though.

Just had 4 nights stay here. Caravan was spotless, the view was amazing and the food in the steamer was delicious,
the only problem was it was too hilly. I have copd so struggled getting about.

Currently staying in the Wildcat caravan. I will start with the good bits. The Caravan came with a veranda which is good with us having a dog ( it was advertised as not having one ). Malham cove, white scarr caves and ingelton waterfalls are all within half an hours drive which offer amazing walks. Pendle hill is close by and skipton is 20 minutes away where you will find a morrisons, tesco and aldi and a few nice coffee shops. Hawes is also within an hours drive...Now for the bad bits.

Although the caravan was presentable and very well equipped and granted we booked a pet friendly one so didnt expect it to be pristine, there was stains on the carpets, the sofa area was very uncomfortable previous dog hair was present etc, the beds are very uncomfortable and after the first night i was left with a bad back. The shower area and kitchen were very clean, there wasn't even a crumb left in the toaster ! We were placed right next to the main road which is quite busy ( just bad luck i suppose ). One thing to note, please dont book this park if you have young children, it is not like the other parkdean parks and has no swimming pool, evening entertainment etc, it is more suited to couples or older families that are after a hiking holiday and want to use this site as a base to sleep and eat. Make sure you bring your shopping with you as the on site shop does not stock a great deal, i cant comment on the onsite pub as we have yet to visit it. This is an honest reveiw, definately areas to improve on. The experience hasn't ruined our break, however after staying at other parkdean sites i think i was expecting a little more.

Stayed in a really nice modern caravan. Number 20. The caravan was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Dogs were allowed in the caravan...
If the owner reads this the dvd player has the wrong connection to work with the TV 😊 but not an issue as we weren't in there much.
The park itself is quiet. It nice location to explore the local areas.
The park needs a little work. There is a one way system but not obvious which way to get out, needs more signs. There are some led lighting which is really bright when arriving back in the dark, they need tilting down a bit or some sort of defuser.
Unfortunately our caravan was next to a main 60 mph road (other side of some trees), which was quite loud at night..
Overall we had a good week, no major issues.
Shout out to Leanne who was very helpful and pleasant on our arrival.
