Went for the first time for the weekend, great little site. Had a few issues with the WiFi which we paid for but managed to get a refund which wasn't a problem. The girls loved the swimming pool and the reptile meet and greet which was free, they got to hold most of the animals and really enjoyed it. Everywhere was clean both in the public areas and in the static caravan. Not far for us to travel either.

Liked: It was a nice resort. We only stayed one night but kids loved the splash area, pool and play area. We had tea in the bar/restaurant which was nice
All the staff were lovely!
We glamped and stayed in 'Hive' which was well maintained

Liked: We could not fault the overall service from Riverside Park - everything was spotless and with ease of use of the facilities and very accessible to all the amenities - the pod/hut was just perfect for us and spotless -the overall park looks extremely new as if it was just built - we would certainly stay there again without hesitation.

Disliked: My on;y moan would be that the huts/pods would benefit from having possibly a one or two ring hob in it - especially when you have kids to feed !!!

Poor, nothing to do unless you drive your stuck in the middle of no where with nothing to do.
The park is clean and nice but not for kids all there is is a park splash pad and swimming.
To say this was booked through Family Fund for children with disabilities it is not at all there's nothing to do.
Only one place for food which is the pub where 80% of the menu wasn't even available and what was is so expensive!
Paper trays and plastic cutlery for a £20 steak is not great at all.
We stayed 5 days and never spent a day at the park because there was nothing to do.
You can have 2 weeks abroad for what we paid for a platinum 3 caravan, the van all though it is nice lacks any storage, not even a cooking tray on chopping board.
I suppose if many are coming you can make your own entertainment but as a family on our own all we seemed to do was travel.
There's just nothing around to do.
We waited 3 years to take this holiday and swapped it from Skegness id never come again my kids are are used to eentertainment on the park and lots to do it was a shock coming here to nothing .

Been coming here for years. Love the site. Nice and quiet. Close to southport but too close to be spoilt. Seen many changes over the years. The temporary shop needs to finally go though and be replaced by something better.

Lovely park, so quiet where we were. The caravan was superb. We have been four times now excellent every time. The reception staff are so friendly and accommodating. Going to book again most definitely.

Liked: The hive was really clean and spacious, good shower and the site is a good location for the city centre. Really clean holiday site too.

Disliked: Wish there was washing up supplies, we had to buy washing up liquid and leave a pan to soak because there was no sponge. Felt bad not cleaning everything before we left. Shame the pub wasn't dog friendly, even though the site was :/
