Salcombe Regis Camping & Caravan Park

Just home from a 10 day stay at this super site, I really didn't want to go home. The site has everything you need, even a great little shop for essentials and ice-cream! Set in a stunning location, with many pitches looking out onto green open space. The site was very quiet and relaxing with super friendly staff. Also close to the coast path, Sidmouth and Branscombe, many walks direct from the site, so hardly used the car. All in all a great holiday experience and hope to be back one day

We've just had 4 nights at this lovely site. The pitches are fab, big and very flat with plenty of room. There are some great walks from the site and the on site dog walk is one of the best we've seen. The staff are so friendly, from the ladies in the shop to the guys around the park. There is a laundry room with a large chest freezer if you need to store anything.
Can't wait to return!

After a day at the nearby donkey sanctuary for our three year old grandsons birthday we ferried his presents back to our daughter and family who were staying at this campsite but had walked to the sanctuary,sadly we were not allowed into the site unless we paid £5 a head plus £7.50 for the car so £22.50 to drop his presents off ...this sort of blatant profiteering does nothing to encourage me to write a favourable review no matter how nice the campsite is ..the gentleman could easily of checked we were not on site after a few minutes ,he was welcome to come around with us to watch if he liked ! So instead of taking a few minutes to deliver the pile of presents our daughter and her husband had to walk backwards and forwards to our car several times . Profiteering jobsworth

Had a couple of days over August bank holiday with the family. Great pitches, friendly staff, shop in site, table tennis table, football goal and volley ball net. Showers varied depending on which block you go to, although all were clean, one set of toilets was like a trip back to the 1980s and the other block was bang up to date. I guess you can't invest until you grow the business. Great place to stay. Good walks along the coastal path from here. Went for a beautiful walk through woods to Sidmouth. All good

We've just returned from a four night break with our three young children. This is one of the best campsites we have ever stayed on. The facilities are spotless and even over bank holiday weekend, we never had to queue. Pitch sizes are generous and instead of cramming in as many pitches as possible, there are large open spaces perfect for the children to play. The staff we encountered were always friendly and the whole site was immaculately clean. If you are searching for a peaceful site, then this is for you. After 10pm the whole site was quiet, allowing for star gazing and then an early night. There are fantastic walks from the site and it is an easy stroll across the fields to the nearby Donkey Sanctuary. Thank you for an enjoyable stay, we were all sad to leave.

Lovely campsite been many many times and will continue to go many more, the staff are all very very friendly and happy to have a conversation with you and help you with any problems. Campsite very well kept and toilets/shower rooms very clean and tidy. Normally go camping here which is lovely and has a nice view from the tents but stayed recently in one of their premium caravans that was a lovely experience and will definitely go again, it can easily sleep 6 and even came with a dishwasher which is great and a decking which was nice to sit out on in evenings. Would very very much recommend

Just had a week in one of their premium caravans and I can thoroughly recommend hiring one. Plenty big enough to sleep 6. Bonus of a dishwasher 😜 and not having to do the washing up on holiday. The site is extremely well looked after and toilet/shower facilities are spotless. Well done and keep up the fab work, hoping to be back next year 🙂

Just returned from a fabulous stay at this excellent campsite, we booked in for 10 nights but stayed for an extra night as we didn't want to leave! When we arrived we had such a warm welcome & instantly felt a good vibe from them & about the site in general, we were given lots of info & tips to make the most of the area & enjoy our stay & told to go back to ask any questions we may have if we needed anymore advice. we were shown to our pitch which we were instantly pleased with, it was a generous size & over looked a huge open green area with lots of trees so we were chuffed to bits with it. Showers & toilets were the cleanest I've seen at any site in a long time, they were absolutely spotless all day & night! The showers were amazing, they were the usual push button ones but stayed on for about two minutes per push instead of the usual two seconds that sites normally have! We didn't use the washing up facilities but they looked pretty decent & quite large. We chose this site for it's location, we were able to walk to so many places from the site itself & other areas we wanted to visit were only a short drive away, it's absolutely perfect for walkers as there's so much walking in the area we were spoilt for choice where to go. It was one of the quietest sites we've stayed at which was a godsend as we've had some issues in the past with roudy groups which can spoil other people's holidays but here most people respected the rules which was quite refreshing as sadly over the last year or so camping etiquette seems to be a thing of the past. We would both highly recommend this site to anyone & we are already talking about going back at some point which we will 100% do in the future.
