We have had a fantastic stay here Tanya and Dave are the best and very helpful. The site is so peaceful and to wake up to the dawn chorus is amazing. The facilities are very good and spotless. We definitely will be back to explore the area . Big thank you to both because they have gone the extra mile to help me when my husband took ill .x

What a remarkable little gem of a place this is. This farm as been in the family for over 150 years. There is hard standing and lovely lawned areas to. The showers and toilets 🚻 facilities are emaculate, and there is an area for pot washing to. The on site shop is amazing 👀😲. It's got everything in there, so if you have forgotten something I'm sure they will have it. And they have fresh food delivered daily. The utensil side of the shop is amazing. But most of all is the amazing welcome you get when you arrive from a beautiful couple who have the farm along with their family 👪 ❤ 😊. You won't be disappointed coming here, and it is so close to Knaresborough and Harrogate, and many more beautiful places. The wildlife around the farm is just amazing to. I have never seen so many Goldfinch, Blackbirds, Bats, Barn Owl, Hawk Owl, Tawny Owl, Jenny Wren. The couple who own the farm are called David and Tanya. There is one thing for certain we will be back. Many thanks for a fabulous and peaceful stay. Kind regards Jeff and Diana xx

Despite a challenging medical emergency (we wish T&D and their family all the best at this difficult time), the quality of service & attention to detail at this lovely site is outstanding. Such a gem, and within easy walking distance to Harrogate (40 min stroll), the place offers such tranquility and is wonderfully placed as a base to explore the gorgeous surrounding towns & countryside. Thank you for sharing it with us!

This campsite was lovely. It is small and the pitches are spread out so you don't have anyone on top of you. We chose to be in the Orchard. Beautiful views of the countryside and animals.

The facilities available are excellent. Clean toilets and showers. Fridge /freezer available to use including an honesty box for eggs, and bacon etc. The cookshop was amazing. So many things to buy.

The campsite was very well situated. Near to Harrogate and other places. Walks available from the campsite too.

We loved the fact that there was a 'no noise after 10.30' rule. This was very important to us when choosing a campsite.

BUT most importantly of all was the warm welcome we had from Tania. She is an absolute credit to the campsite. So friendly and helpful.

We would definitely return in the future.

Thurs time we’ve stayed here and it remains a favourite place of ours. Super accommodation, great value and location. Run by the nicest people you could wish for (Tanya and Dave).

Awards for camping and I'm not surprised. Excellent site and a great kitchen shop as well. Very handy for visiting Harrogate by bus.

We booked a stay of 4 nights as we wanted to visit Harrogate Christmas Market. The Cud Life was easy to find due to the comprehensive directions we were given once we had our booking confirmation. Tanya and David 's communication was thorough and friendly from start to finish.
We arrived at 2.00pm on the dot and received a warm welcome from Tanya and her lovely sidekick Annie. Annie showed us to a choice of pitches and informed us of where the facilities were. These included two unisex showers and two unisex loos both in the same nipping clean building. There was access to a hairdryer, straightening irons and a radio. The showers are spacious with plenty of room and numerous pegs to hang clothes and washbag. Also a heated towel rail!
The pitches themselves are hardstanding with grass in-between. Fairly level but we needed chocks on pitch No1.
Getting out and about was easy for us. Have bus pass, will travel lol. The No36 bus runs every half hour or so, either way, and stops on the main road (A61) at the bottom of the lane. You can go to Ripley and Ripon one way and Harrogate and Leeds the other. We went out every day it was so easy.
The Cooking Fantastic cookshop on site, run by Tanya, has a very comprehensive range of cookware and accessories. There are fresh cakes and frozen goodies to buy as well. We had a lovely chat and a good laugh with Tanya and Annie. They are passionate about The Cud Life and just want people to be happy and enjoy their stay. We highly recommend staying here. Oh, the views and wildlife are beautiful too. Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas 🎄 ✨️ 🎶

Lovely site with very helpful relaxed owners. The kitchen shop there is amazing. The site is very close to harrogate so it is walkable, about 40mins, but there are plenty buses going past regularly if you don't fancy walking and a taxi is not much more.
