Wonderful place for families. It is very quiet and the rooms are clean. Hot tub is an additional feature. Beautiful scenery around. Bala lake is not too far from the accommodation. Single parking available in front of the accommodation.

Lovely place. We occasionally heard some noisy visitors, but never too late in the evening (hen party). Amazing views of the mountains and only a 2 mile walk to Bala (or 5 mins in car). Lots of beautiful places nearby, I'd recommend Portmeirion for a unique experience. The lady that works there is lovely and really helpful.

We have come home from here today, absolutely stunning place to stay. The lodge itself is absolutely beautiful, so clean and comes equipped with everything you need from towels to washing up liquid. We stayed here 3 years ago and ouldnt wait to come back and are looking forward to our next stay. Such a peaceful and tranquil place. It's not a site for loud entertainment so if that's what you're r looking for you're better off booking haven. There is a beautiful little play park with a comfortable lounging area for parents. There is also a games room with things such as a pool table, board games ect... Staff are very attentive, they check the hot tubs in the mornings and chemicals that are needed. Purchasing WiFi was very easy, only annoying thing was having to log back in daily. Noticed a few reviews about the lodges not being what they expected. All I can say is to use you're common sense. We looked at all the lodges and specs, reviews ect... If you want a top end lodge, do your research and book the right one. We always go for the foxglove 6 platinum and have definitely not been disappointed. My sister and her family also have booked both times we have been and have also fell in love with the beauty and tranquility of the place. You could stay on site and in the hot tub all day every day and there is no need to venture out. But there are beautiful places a short drive away to explore and then come back and relax in the hot tub. I couldn't recommend this place enough, if you are looking for a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing time out with the family, this is the place!

Wonderful weekend with the kids - excellent park and lodge. Close to Bala. Kids loved the play area and games room - 4.5 stars.... not 5 due to 9am checkout, having to pay for wifi and shop being reduced hours at the weekend

Lovely and well kept holiday park. Staff all really helpful and friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the Manor House which was beautiful and really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely return again soon.

We stayed in the Manor House, it's very nice, lots of space, a nice big garden with hot tub, private drive up from the main entrance and the whole plot is private from the rest of the park which is great if you have younger children as they can't really escape, however there is a gate that leads onto the road which children could climb through if not watched.

There are 3 double rooms, 2 of which have side rooms with single beds in for children, fantastic if a couple of families went together and room for 2 cars in the drive, but one of you will be blocked in.

The on site shop is good, stocks some essentials but not all, you have to go to town where there is a co-op, buchers etc

For those that wish to know, the WiFi only works upstairs, the coverage is quite poor and only let's 4 devices on at any one time, if a group of you are going with kids it could cause issues, phone reception is not great either.

Apart from that is great, would highly recommend.

We stayed at Bala Lodges for a weekend break, the lodge we booked was a foxglove dog friendly lodge with a hot tub. The lodge itself was well presented, well equipped and cosy. Outside there was decking that wrapped around, a seating area and a circular hot tub in the corner. There was enough space for us all without being on top of each other, the lodge had all the kitchen utensils required including, a dishwasher and washing machine.
The rooms were well equipped with more than enough storage and a relatively comfortable bed.

The location of our lodge (P60) wasn’t the best, it was overlooked by all angles and the hot tub was very exposed with the parking for 2 lodges directly next to the lodge. There is a fence and a tinted glass panel around however we still didn’t feel 100% comfortable. Our lodge was directly opposite the reception office also and so it felt a strange positioning. We walked around the whole park and it did seem the exposed hot tub setting was a common theme with the majority of other lodges but we personally prefer more privacy.

The park itself is lovely and quiet, in a remote setting, with picturesque views, it is well maintained. There are a couple of small green areas and a children’s park, WiFi is available to purchase for £10 per stay at the lodge,

Locally Bala Village is a 5 minute drive and has shops (Spar, a large Co- Op), pubs, petrol station, post office and other amenities, there are plenty of scenic walks to take around the lodge park, the lake and the village itself.

Further out most places to visit are about an hour or so drive away we visited, Conwy, Betwys-y-coed, Swallow Falls and Caernarfon

The only negative point we could find, having stayed in over 8 different lodge parks we know this isn’t the norm, was the check in and check out times which we found to be inconveniently late to check in and early to check out by 09:00. Other facilities may not be too different from this however even an hour or two makes a lot of difference and gives greater flexibility.

In summary, the lodge itself was exactly what we expected and was comfortable and cosy, the location and setting was beautiful however, we wouldn’t stay again mainly due to the positioning of the lodges.
